At this point I have to say I'm rooting for Johnson though.  I've never liked Davis's style and karma is coming around after his BS decision over Machida.

Dana White must be so pissed off now, Rumble is killing off a title contender. He probably thought Davis would run right through Rumble. Dana now realizes cutting Rumble from the UFC was a mistake.

The only reason I don't score close rounds 10-10 or dominant rounds 10-8 is because judges hardly score rounds like that and they just go straight up 10-9 a lot/most of the time.

Damn, I imagined Phil could stick and move on the outside, force Rumble to be aggressive then similar to Vitor and Koscheck put to bed the tired Monster.

Had money on a Phil parlay too. Talked a bunch of **** how Rumble would beat Davis when this was signed, you guys voted me down because I'm so G now I went back on my word like a chump and am losing money. Awesome card though.

@flOw _, I think you're wrong ... If Phil didn't get a shot (or even contention talk) after he "beat" Machida you can be sure Dana doesn't like him as a contender. Rumble, on the other hand, when he makes weight he's Dana's kind of fighter, hard to take down and KTFO's mofos.

@flOw _ Cutting Rumble from the UFC wasn't a mistake. It was something the UFC needed to do to prove they were serious about fighters missing weight and something Rumble needed to happen so he could see he was to big to be cutting weight to make 170 and 185 lbs.

It was a win-win situation in the end for both accounts.

@yoss he couldn't have gotten a shot because Gus was already next in line for Jones. And Dana doesn't give title shots to fighters who win by poor performances (e.g. Davis vs Machida), he gives shots to fighters like Glover who finish fights regardless of who they beat. Also he cares what would make more money.

@Nomad I think the huge difference from this fight and the Kos and Vitor fights is that Rumble is fighting at a much higher weight class where he doesn't have to cut massive weight which has helped him improve his cardio a lot since he's been going hard at Davis during the whole fight.

Davis needs to move camps. Del Fierro isn't a good coach. He needs someone to help him with his striking. Davis striking hasn't improved at all.
