Predictions: 5 of 11 Winners, 2 Perfect, 325 Points   |   Tied for 1304th

We've got one prelim on Facebook/UFC Fight Pass at 430pm ET followed by six prelims on FOX Sports 1 and then the four-bout main card at 8pm on big FOX.

No title fights, but damn are there some nice match-ups on this one.

Not getting a lot of love from the fickle MMA media.

Josh acting like a baby and thinking about retirement. him and Nick would get along great.

They should do a rematch and have Grant get the title shot.

@AllHailKrull The difference between Josh and Nick Diaz. Diaz was in his prime and complained about not making enough money right after being handed an unearned title shot. Thomson never complained about the money and he just lost his title shot while being at the twilight of his career (he'll be 36 in September).

@2k- yea, I found that odd, but maybe he was thinking that they didn't grow back fast enough for his liking, like a beard would..

To be fair, 36 or 106 Thomson has never looked better than his last three fights, to say he's not in his prime would be insane. Age is just a.number in Josh.Thomsons case.

I really hope Josh doesn't retire just yet ... and no, after putting so many years into the sport there's nothing wrong with winning a belt and retiring.

If I'm the UFC, I tell him that he's one win away from a shot, put two more fights in and then call it quits, win or lose. I'm pretty sure Josh is the kind of guy who can motivate himself for two more fights if he managed to fight like that for 25 minutes, with a broken hand for 20 of them after a ****** camp.

He always brings it to the big fights and I wouldn't blame him if he pulled a win-retire routine.

He at least deserves the shot.

@Nomad He certainly looked great against Diaz and fought close with Henderson & Gilbert, but that certainly does not mean his body isn't breaking down. He's closing in on 40. Just because he had a few great camps in a row doesn't mean his body is going to be able to hold up long-term. His thumb injury is gonna keep him out of the gym for a while. Not only that, but if he's not in it mentally, he will not have a good camp. If he decides he wants to come back, good for him. I'll be happy to watch him fight a few more times. Even if he does come back, realistically we're not looking at him fighting for more than 2 or 3 years, so between 4 and 9 fights if he attempts to fight 3 times a year, which he hasn't done since 2010.

I thought 35 was supposed to be prime time. Anyway as a fan I hope he continues to fight, I think he's got more good fights to give and they will all be at the money level which is good.

@Ed-with all his injuries, his prime is behind him. He still is a top 5 guy out of his prime though.

easiest pick of my life: Benson henderson by decision. I think he could have got choked out in the first rd, and still pulled out a split decision.
