Carlos Barreto Wiki
Carlos "Carlao" Barreto competed during the dark ages of MMA, once a 7-0 prospect with wins over Mikhail Iliyukhin, Kevin Randleman and Dan Bobish. Barreto also beat Pedro Otavio and a young Ben Rothwell. Barreto came into the UFC a big favourite against Dave Benetau. Benatau shocked everyone by winning a massive upset on the scorecards after a war between both men. During his 9 year career Carlos has competed for the UFC, Pride, K-1 Brazil, M-1, Jungle Fight, International ValeTudo Championships, World Mecca Vale Tudo, Rings Japan, 2Hot 2Handle and hookNshoot. Carlos retired in 2005 after 3 consecutive losses. He currently runs a Jui Jitsu and self defense school, does fight commentary for Canal Combate and works as a life coach
