Pride 30 Wiki Update Wiki

After a series of stellar events—from the 2005 Pride Middleweight Grand Prix to the Lightweight and Welterweight tournaments of the Pride Bushido series—Pride 30 fell somewhat flat. The lone high-profile attractions were a fight between veterans Kazushi Sakuraba and Ken Shamrock that Sakuraba won improbably by knockout, as well as a heavyweight bout between Mirko Filipovic and Josh Barnett.

The main event marked the second time that Filipovic had defeated Barnett, as he did so with a Unanimous Decision victory.
