Brundage being in the main card for 300 bothers me. A lot

Two former champions are opening the prelins when Brundage vs Nickel is on the main card. Just that fact is insane to me.

Kattar/Sterling odds are odd

Predictions: 7 of 13 Winners, 1 Perfect, 420 Points   |   Tied for 6630th

Kattar is huge, mean and a good wrestler. Aljo won't have anything on the feet and will struggle to take him down. I think  the odds are a little too respectful of his status a as a former champion

he’s a good fighter brotha. I wouldn’t call him a fraud. I think he can beat a lot of strikers. But, he has a lot of flaws for sure.

I actually think Aljo is much more well rounded fighter. He probably would lose this if it was striking only… but clearly his striking is not the only thing that wins him fights. When he fought Sean I personally felt it was an early stoppage because he was still trying to get up. That’s just my personal opinion, but the reff was trigger happy. I think Katar is the more dangerous striker, however I do not believe he is well more rounded fighter. I expect Aljo to win by a Dec. with take downs. Katar is more willing to engage in “wars” than he is in winning the fights. I don’t think Aljo will be willing to engage into a war with him. I expect him to shoot for take downs, and not trade with him for long.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 8 of 13 Winners, 0 Perfect, 460 Points   |   Tied for 5828th

Pereira vs. Hill
Jamahal Hill, TKO, R2
I know Jamahal Hill keeps his lead hand low and is open to Pereiras deadly left hook. Hill did also get his leg chewed up against osp which is Pereiras best weapon but I think Hill is extremely underrated & has very good fight iq. I think Hill drops him and wins with ground & pound. Confidence: 4/10

Zhang vs. Yan
Weili Zhang, SUB, R2
Zhang should dominate especially with her grappling. Part of me worries Yan could get that counter ko is Zhang gets sloppy so I'd stay away from betting on her. Confidence: 6/10

Gaethje vs. Holloway
Justin Gaethje, TKO, R4
Still debating on this fight. Might switch once I see what kind of shape max looks at 155. If it looks like he properly bulked up I'm probably gonna pick him because I do believe Max is the better striker in a stand up fight. As for now I'm going patient gaethje finding those power shots and swelling up the eye of max & winning via Dr stoppage. Confidence: 4/10

Oliveira vs. Tsarukyan
Arman Tsarukyan, TKO, R2
Now most people think olives smokes Arman yet olives is almost a +200 favorite. I think the odds should be -100 for both guys. Either one could finish the other. There's something telling me Arman is gonna win via ground and pound like how he beat Joel Alvarez. Still rooting for olives but going with Arman. Confidence 4/10

Nickal vs. Brundage
Bo Nickal, SUB, R1
I have no problem with bo nickal being on the ppv however it should be against better dudes than Cody brundage. It would be hilarious if brundage KO'd nickal but he's garbage. He got out grappled by worse grapplers than nickal so I don't think brundage will be the one to fraud check bo. However I am interested in seeing what happens if bo doesn't get a first round finish. Confidence 7/10

Procházka vs. Rakić
Jiří Procházka, DEC
I can see rakic low kicking and holding jiri down to a boring decision win but I think jiri will do more damage. Tricky fight to call. Confidence 3.5/10

Kattar vs. Sterling
Calvin Kattar, TKO, R3
We'll see how kattar looks coming back after tearing his ACL but I just don't think sterlings game plan of being the bigger guy and getting the pack of his opponents will translate well to featherweight. His standup is so terrible. I think he'll be doing well early but it see an uppercut ko from kattar. Confidence 3.5/10

Holm vs. Harrison
Kayla Harrison, DEC
Pls get canceled pls get canceled pls get canceled

Yusuff vs. Lopes
Diego Lopes, TKO, R2
Absolute dog fight war. I think lopes can push a harder pace and do more damage. Confidence 4/10

Turner vs. Moicano
Jalin Turner, TKO, R2
I feel like turner is going to steam roll moicano. I do worry turner could tire out and get subbed but I don't like the way moicano takes shots. Confidence 6/10

Andrade vs. Rodriguez
Jéssica Andrade, TKO, R3
If Andrade fights to her full potential she should win but if she starts to get too wild she could get counter KO'd. Confidence: 5/10

Green vs. Miller
Jim Miller, TKO, R2
Good for Jim miller for fighting on ufc 100,200, & 300 that's ******* sick. He's won 5 out of his last 6 fights but that was against bums. Id pick green if he didn't take 15 unnecessary shots after getting KO'd 4 months ago. Jim throws with heat and Bobby keeps his hands low. Confidence: 4.5/10

Figueiredo vs. Garbrandt
Deiveson Figueiredo, TKO, R2
Figgy looks great at bantamweight. He 30-27'd the guy who 50-45'd garbrant. Confidence: 7.5/10

@pashaboyer
I don't think the O'Malley fight is too relevant to this matchup, and even then he got nullified rd 1. Rd 2 he got dropped and fell on his face sideways. He then proceeded to eat at least 12 punches while flailing his limbs inefffectively in an attempt to get up. Not an early stoppage in my opinion.

Also I don't think Aljo can take down Kattar. Like I genuinely don't. As I said, Kattar is a big guy and a good wrestler himself. Aljo uses his size to throw around BW's not featherweights. He's also gonna be at a reach disadvantage for the first time in any of his UFC bouts, so his kinda goofy, rangy volume strikes won't be as effective in setting up the wrestling. All of this wouldn't be so bad if he had any striking power to speak of, but he doesn't. Maybe he'll suddenly get KO power since he'll be less depleted at FW, but guess what? Kattar has a great chin.

Kattar as the underdog is a gift
