In fact because Conor kicked Loik off TUF and replaced him with one of his drunken Irish stooges I think they are doing Loik a favour now.
Loik is good. Excellent wrestling though his top control could be better and he doesn't do much on top. However I have been impressed by 3 things with him. His cardio, chin and striking power.
Ribovics main chance is a R1 KO, but Loik has a good chin and the way Ribovics strikes opens him up to takedowns. Also he is very hittable, especially for overhand strikes and guess what Loik is good at?
I think Loik takes this. Probably a finish. And maybe betting the FDNGD is not a bad bet. Only concern about that is Loik can sometimes just stall on top and in his debut what will he do? Stall, ensure the win and preserve short notice cardio (though he was getting ready for TUF) or try and make a statement and go for the finish?
