Maia at 9? Come on. Lost to Munoz (poor decision) beats Santiago (higher ranked than any of Bisping's opponents) and has a win over Sonnen. No way he's lower than Bisping.

If finishes had anything to do with rankings GSP wouldn't be top 50. Santiago cut was ********, and a much bigger win than Mayhem, Grove and Miranda weren't great wins, but they're not too much worse than most of Bisping's wins, then his win over Dan Miller was more dominant than Bisping's.

It was pretty much robbery. If it was judged the same way that Edgar's decision win over Maynard was judged, Yves won.

But you can't expect judges to use the same criteria in every fight! That's just silly!

Edwards wasn't robbed in his fight...Ferguson beat him straight up...Just because one of your favorites is getting older and a younger fighter beats him doesn't mean he was robbed

Well put @soccerkick if anyone won that fight it was Ferguson because he had the solid round in the fight.  And I like how after the fight he said "I didn't expect it to go to a decision, but I'm glad it did.  I learned alot."  Wow I think that's so cool, I have alot of respect for that guy.

@soccerkick

Bloodyelbow scored it 29-28 Yves
"Official Result: Tony Ferguson by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28). That's some terrible judging.
"

MMA junkie:
MMAjunkie.com is going to lean slightly toward Edwards, 10-9, giving him the fight 29-28

But you're right. I'm the one that's biased...

I didn't really see Ferguson land any clean shots in the last two rounds, at least not as many as Yves. Yves is not one of my favorites, his "thug jitzu" is a joke. He danced around and tagged Ferguson just like Frankie did in his second fight against Gray, which was a decision if I remember correctly

i didn't say bisping would ko him. You said sanitago would stop bisping, i think because bisping supposedly has no punching power. I do not believe santiago would finish bisping

@Ram, it went to decision, but ended in a draw.  So I guess you are both right, technically.

The fight was very close. I was surprised at the 30-27's.  I think I had it 29-28 Ferguson.

But whatever, it was basically a draw.  Neither guy "won" in the sense that there was a clear winner and loser.   Hockey has draws and nobody seems to have a big issue with it - it would be nice to see them more frequently in MMA.

Right, my bad. Definitely still surprised it was a unanimous decision though.
