@mulefloyd Yeah, I agree with you, it's was 2-punch combo, you learn those things and do it automatically all day. muscle memory. it started right on the bell, but the second punch, the one which landed, was way after the bell.
Not a dirty move at all. But still illegal.
The way Dollaway milked being carried out of the cage though... pisses me off a lot more than the actual illegal punch. If he was hit with that in the middle of the round, he would've fought thru it... he took the easy way out, imo.

I hear everyone's point and argument about it being a dirty/purposeful punch. I just feel some sympathy to a fighter who is caught up in the moment and trying to uncork a combo.
To clarify I'm not suggesting it was a FAIR punch. Clearly illegal. Just whether it was malicious/dirty intent.

I'm not sure it was intentional by Lombard, but I still am fine with the DQ.
Dolloway saying "I thought he said 'Time!" makes the times he later said "What happened?" a little bit suspect. Maybe not though. Concussions are weird.

10-9 Dodson.
His pocket slips and step=out pivots really are glorious. I kinda feel bad for him....he's just unfortunate to have been doing this in the era of the great mighty mouse.

10-9 dodson. Munoz needs a finish and the recovery time over the shot to the codpiece benefits dodson.

Munhoz started to come on a bit at the end but I think that round is still Dodson.

29 - 28 Munhoz for me.
Pressure and the takedown in the end won that round for him.

awesome fight. Dodson timed Munhoz perfectly in the first round, but Munhoz came back and took the second. I think Dodson edged the third, 29-28 Dodson, imo.

How long?
How long can Byrd get away with it?

Pretty clear fight to me. Dodson took the first two comfortably, dropped the third.

Fun fight. Respect to both guys.
Important win for Dodson too, last fight on his deal, if he lost this one he would have probably been cut or forced to take a paycut.

Would be fitting if they matched up Dodson with Stamann and Munhoz with Caraway.
