Did GSP give up?

Was it an early stoppage ?

Lets take a look back down memory lane.

Matt Serra midget butt can avoid a take down and land hard punches on the champ. Why can't others?

UFC 69 also gave Diego Sanchez his first loss after going 17-0.

 Alan Belcher lost via barbo choke.

Yushin Okami was still DEC people.

Thales Leites was still in the UFC and not wrongly cut.

What i learned is that GSP can't work off his back.

Early stoppage? GSP tapped...

Kinda looks like he tried to turtle, and tap to strikes, but the ref steps in, and stops it. Not sure if thats true tho.

What? That's what you got from that? I think you missed the part were Serra just blasted him on the feet,,,,,,,,,,,Serra has fairly good head movement and a lot of power. He surprised George with his striking. He hit GSP in the champ killer spot. He then swarmed GSP. GSP was just never able to recover. He was completely out of it after that last shot that hit him to the floor. That had nothing to do with GSP ability off his back, but rather Serra has good power. Up in till that fight Serra was primarily a grappler. He just seriously surprised GSP.

Gunn you need to ignore it.  We will handle it.

If you keep bringing this up, we'll be suspending you over it.  And we don't want to do that.  Just move on.

GSP was young and got caught. You are over analyzing like a fool.

Has anyone tried to tear gsp up with leg kicks?  i cant remember..

I think Thiago Alves tried, but he kept getting takedown so he stopped after a few rounds i believe.

Thiago Alves would get put on his ass every time he tried but he would pop right up, which was impressive considering how effective GSP's top control is. But to be fair, it wasn't really technique; it was more Alves just powering out 'cause he's a beast of a human being.
