FINALLY! Been waiting for this event for months! Just few more hours.

Aldo vs. Edgar. Man that will be a war. One of the greatest matchups in a LONG time IMO. It is so hard to compare these guys. Aldo did well against good wrestlers like Faber and Mendes. But Frankie has far better speed and boxing skills than those guys. It will be interesting to see if Aldo wears out against Frankie like he did with Hominick. And he really took some shots in that match. Aldo hasn't faced anyone like Edgar, so this really is hard to predict. However, I would give a slight edge to Aldo based on his movement, speed and great TDD. But in the end, I think it comes down on who has a better day.

Evans vs. Nogueira... Should be very easy for Rashad. He is just better on every aspect. UFC shouldn't keep matching Lil Nog with wrestlers, they could get so much more out of him. Either a doming performance that goes to the judges or knockout in the last two rounds.

Overeem finally returns! He will prove why he is the best in the division after the champ. Bigfoot is slow on his feet and Overeem great sprawler and super-explosive. Total domination.

Another one that's hard to predict is Fitch - Maia. Battle of the ground specialists. Maia is slower, but he has done quite good in taking guys down and when he gets on top he is just great. He does better in WW IMO and I really liked how he handled Story. That was impressive. Fitch has been in trouble in the ground even with some weaker guys, so he should try keep it standing. My mind might change about this, but I'm picking Fitch.

I have heard some criticism over Benavidez - McCall, but I think this is very interesting one. Both of those guys have the ability to end this one before the bell. McCall is tough, I admit that, but I don't think he can match with Benavidez's strength. Benavidez is extremely well-rounded and he might just be the next champ in the flyweight division.

In comparison, very, very nice card. Might best of the year.

Was just looking over my picks and realized...wow this is an amazing card. I'm honestly looking forward to every fight...WAR THUG-JITSU AND JOE-JITSU!

I'm also hoping for the huge upset of Bigfoot knocking Allistair's head off.

I wnat 2 underdogs to win really bad, Nog and Maia. And I kinda think the biggest upset of the night may be Bigfoot beating Reem .. I only felt good changing to a 'with the heart' kinda pick and that one goes to Maia! WAR MAIA.

Fitch/Maia is going to be like watching a freight train run into a mountain, or for any of you who know Marvel Comics: The Juggernaut vs. The Blob, the unstoppable (submission machine) vs. the immovable object (unsubbable?). Which gives first?

Maia/Fitch is the 1st Fitch fight I have ever really been pumped for.

No, I'm not saying that as in 'Fitch is boring, I hate him watching him fight'.

I'm saying that because for the most part when Fitch fights he is a stylistic nightmare for his opponent. You sort of know how the fights gonna play out.. Now his strength falls right into Maias strength.. I am so pumped for this fight.

Agreed ...

In fact the only one that I'm not too interested in is the Volkman/Green fight ... but that's just because I'm not the greatest Volkman fan and he's probably going to win, not because I'm expecting a boring fight :)

Green can be a spaz on the ground though... so it could produce some fun grappling (with Volkmann having his way).

@Mike

I disagree that Fitch is normally a stylistic nightmare for his opponents. For example Alves in the second fight was expected to beat Fitch. He had shown vastly improved TDD which enable him to dominated both Hughs and Kos.  Penn another fight many thought penn would dominate due to his amazing take down defense. Then you have pierce/hendrick both elite wrestlers with granite chins and lots of power neither were good stylistically matches for Fitch. Even his last fight was not believe to be a good matchup for him either. So i disagree with the notion that Fitch is normally a stylistic nightmare for his opponents.

Alistair to Bigfoot : "You're a dead man" Judging from Bigfoot's face, Alistair got preety deep under his skin, Silva is downright pissed. I support Alistair to win the UFC heavyweight Championship this year, hope he doesn't let me down! This guy has been everywhere Honestly if Alistair puts too much of a beating on Silva, I'll feel sorry for the guy, he seems like a legit nice fellow
