Throw Carwin on it in the co-main event and its a solid card

you'd have:

  • Main- Edgar vs Henderson
  • Co-Main- Carwin vs ?
  • Shields vs Herman
  • Okami vs Palhares

Thats a solid card, but if 135 is any indication Okami vs Palhares will be the co!

That would make the card much more PPV worthy... Is Shane ready?

I wanna see Shane in action, imo he could beat any other HW, barring Dos Santos, and could ko reem/velasquez

Shane vs. Browne would be a war.

He's been cleared to fight by the doctors and has been said looking at a late summer/fall return...If he's possible for this card he has to know about it already though...Browne is fighting Rothwell at Fox 4

Screw the Rothwell fight... I'd much rather see Carwin vs. Browne... wouldn't you?

When you get to see two HWs with great chins+the heaviest hands go at it, I'm in. Carwin might be too much for Browne, though, but with the layoff, I think it would be pretty even. If Carwin wins his next fight, though, I want to see him face a top guy, he demolished Mir, almost demolished Lesnar, and showed cardio improvement in his Dos Santos fight, plus he has a size/power advantage over almost every HW.

I'm just not sold on Shane being a top HW.  I think Browne would beat him.. convincingly.  But yeah.. Browne/Rothwell will be a war.. just that it doesn't really do much for Browne as far as rankings go.  Nice win to put on the resume... just not to get you closer to the top5 of the division.

Carwin vs Browne would be a great match and I'd love to see it, but Rothwell and Browne are just outside title contention their fight makes some sense right now.

Maybe Carwin vs Big Country as the co-main for UFC 150

Or Carwin vs Werdum

Rothwell v Browne definitely makes sense, and I'd love to see Shane vs. Werdum, Big Country (who might be outmatched), Reem, Cormier. I think he could ruin Barnett.

I don't think Rothwell is anywhere near title contention... but the fight will be a barn burner.

@Rockz.. I see Shane losing every one of those fights except for the Big Country fight.

If he KOs Browne he'll be top 10 and with the HW division he'd be a big name fight away from a title shot

@Kalibo, I can see that, too, but his power would put each one of them in a bad situation at least once and except for Cormier they've all been KO'd, which is not good if you're going vs Carwin.

@SoccerKick I sure hope he doesn't KO Browne, Browne looks like he can do great things

Poor Schaub, man, he's been ko'd like 3 times and it's just not looking good for him, he needs to train on the ground and work on takedowns because standing up won't work out anymore

lol @soccer... boy did his hype train derail quickly.  Browne is my top HW prospect... I think he has a ton of potential.

I wouldn't mind seeing him on this card either

Carwin says his return will likely be a late fall early winter...Be good to see him back, but selfishly I was hoping he could make it this card!
