I would not say overhyped but Gabe Green has a very good chance of winning. In fact I am picking him

That's how I see him winning. Also really do not like Garrys striking defence, chin up and head moving back. Green needs to only hit him with one shot. Also Greens leg kicks are savage

Adesanya vs. Cannonier
Israel Adesanya, DEC
I'm getting a lot of "Adesanya vs. Romero" vibes out of this fight and I totally hope I'm wrong. The champion has the size and technique advantage on his side but the challenger brings a lot of physical strength and punching power to the table, making this fight lot more competitive than what fans may think. I do believe that Israel is smart enought to stay on the outside and avoid Cannonier's heavy strikes and I also expect him to throw a lot of leg kicks. I do see Jared getting kinda gased out on the later rounds due to his big weight cut and that's why I pick Adesanya to win a close decision on a likely uneventful fight, as he'll be very careful with his striking in order to not get caught with the challenger's heavy punches.

Volkanovski vs. Holloway III
Max Holloway, DEC
The most awaited fight in the Featherweight division is finally here and I'm bummed that it isn't a headliner. Both of these gentlemen have matched up very closely on their last 2 fights, having them 1-1 on my cards. This time, I really do believe that Holloway will get his revenge as I'm hopeful he has been puting on a solid camp and that he'll use his reach, movement and cardio in order to piece up the champ for 5 rounds. Volkanovski is no joke and he'll put on a fight too, but after watching "Holloway vs. Kattar", I truly believe that Max is just on a whole different level and I do see him winning a convincing decision this time.

Strickland vs. Pereira
Alex Pereira, TKO, R3
This fight has "Middleweight Title Eliminator" written all over it. On one side, we have Strickland with the wrestling/grappling advantage and a whole lot more UFC experience than his opponent. However, I'm guessing that 'Poatan' has been training a lot on his takedowns defense going into this fight. Pereira has displayed an elite level of striking and if he uses his size advantage to keep the distance, he's going to piece up Sean with his sharp combos. Alex also holds a lot of power in his shots, so I believe an accumulation of them might be too much for Strickland's chin as the fight progresses.

Munhoz vs. O'Malley
Sean O'Malley, TKO, R2
On this fight we'll get a classic clash between a veteran and a prospect on the bantamweight division. With all the respect, I just don't see a path to victory for Pedro in this fight as I believe he might be starting to get washed up...He's 35yo, 1-4 on his last 5 and hasn't looked like he's there on his last few appeareances. On the other side we have a very well known rising prospect in Sean O'Malley. IMO, O'Malley will dominate this fight using his ridiculously big size advantage. Besides that, Sean also holds the speed and power advantage over Munhoz, which leads me to believe he'll be the first one to ever finish the brazillian veteran...

Riddell vs. Turner
Jalin Turner, SUB, R1
Brad Riddell, despite being an amazing striker, is coming off of a KO loss for the first time in his MMA career and is now facing a beast against Jalin Turner. Turner is incredibly long for this weight class, which means that Ridell will have serious trouble keeping his distance, making it harder to defend takedowns. Besides all that, Brad shows some wholes in his ground game, making me believe that "The Tarantula" will use his sharp submission game to finish this fight early.

Lawler vs. Barberena
Bryan Barberena, DEC
This bout has everything to be an absolute barn burner in the early minutes of the fight as I expect both of these fighters to stand and bang and leave all of what they got inside the octagon. However, as the fight progresses, I also expect the pace to slow down as they start gasing out. This one is very hard to predict and could turn out to be a very close fight, but I'll side with Barberena, as he's the younger and hungrier fighter and I expect him to stay busier than Lawler throughout the fight and that should be enough to get an UD here.

Garry vs. Green
Gabe Green, TKO, R3
I know that Garry is looking like a great young prospect out of Ireland and that he's undefeated, but despite being 2-0 inside the UFC, I don't really think that he looked that good or impressive, specially because he didn't face very challenging opponents. I do believe that Green should be Ian's toughest opponent to date and that he posesses the experience to "bully" Ian around for 3 rounds and then finish him on the ground with some elbows.

Cerrone vs. Miller II
Jim Miller, TKO, R2
It's very interesting to see Cowboy filling in on short notice and getting a rematch against another veteran in Jim Miller. This time around, I do think that Miller will get his revenge. Miller's hands have been looking very dangerous on his last couple of fights and I expect him to have some extra power at 170. Cerrone is a legend of this sport, but I don't think he has the spirit for it anymore and I don't believe his chin will be able to handle the pressure that comes out of Jim.

Hall vs. Muniz
André Muniz, SUB, R2
IMO Muniz's graplling skills are unmatched at this weight division and I do see him using his sharp jiu jitsu in order to get the win on this fight. Uriah Hall, despite having a decent takedown and submission defense, is starting to get older and I don't think he'll be able to survive against André for long. The way I see it, Muniz will eventually get his neck midway into the fight.

Eye vs. Barber
Jessica Eye, DEC
Maycee hasn't looked like the same athlete ever since she fought Roxanne Modafferi as she no longer looks like that young savage chasing after a belt and finishing her fights in agressive ways. IMO, she'll be fighting the toughest opponent of her careeer in Jessica Eye. Eye might have a salty record, but she's only fought killers and most of those losses were really close fights. Jessica has seen it all inside the octagon and I don't think Barber brings anything to the table that will be surprising or put Eye in danger. Should be a close fight but I think Jessica gets a split decision here, by using her experience.

Tavares vs. Du Plessis
Dricus Du Plessis, TKO, R1
This seems the perfect fight for Dricus to get another highlight on his record. No disrespect to Brad, but he isn't exactly known for his punching power or for his amazing wrestling and submission skills as he usually wins his fights via decision and loses them via KO. That being said, there seems to be no real threat for Du Plessis, which leads me to believe that the south african prospect won't respect Tavares on the feet and will throw relentlessly until he gets the stoppage.

Clark vs. Stoliarenko
Julija Stoliarenko, SUB, R2
Stoliarenko might be 0-4 inside the UFC but she's also only fought very tough competition and in my opinion, she'll just be better than Clark everywhere this fight goes. Jessica's game and fight IQ is very overrated, plus she'll be undersized on this fight. The way I see it, Jessica will try to use her wrestling and get a takedown at some point of this fight, which could cost her the victory. Julija is decent fighting off of her back and is also an armbar specialist, which seems to be something that Clark struggles to defend against.

I don’t see how Cannonier fights Adesanya like Romero did. Romero has a style of his own.

Man Cowboys a beast, but I can’t pick him to win anymore, would love if he retires on a win but usually careers don’t end on a high and I don’t think cowboys’ gonna be any different…

I agree with most things you've said. I think he's overhyped in regards to the skill he currently has, but the kid definitely shows some potential. I think he needs the experience since he clearly still has a lot to learn. He does get hit a lot and he's not very strong in the clinch either. I think the UFC is giving him the right kind of competition right now to get that kind of experience he needs.

In regards to his upcoming fight this weekend; Green is tough and is well-rounded, but I think his style of fighting is tailor-made for Garry's counterstriking. Green likes to press forward and has solid striking. However, he gets hit A LOT. Some things Garry is really good at is his movement, range management and his counterstriking. I think Green will make Garry look better than he actually is. I know that Green is tough and can take a punch, but I think Garry could actually KO Green in this fight.
