I can’t in good conscience pick Vettori after seeing him be such a delusional meathead in the build up to the Izzy rematch, the fight itself, and the aftermath. Dude won no seconds of that fight, made no adjustments, and learned no lessons.

But in the other corner, a guy who blamed his last loss on a bottle of wine, and then spent his off time getting a scalp replacement. Two bizarre idiots. It’ll be fun to watch.

Vettori was hilarious before the fight tbf, he only lost the emperor's favour when he started claiming he won the second fight when it's hard to argue he won a round

lol he was getting little kid mad, not able to get his words out fast enough. All red faced. Stomping around. You get to be like that if you’re gonna go out and Mike Tyson guys. But then to get toyed with for five rounds by feints and counters…

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 8 of 14 Winners, 3 Perfect, 515 Points   |   Tied for 1159th

Costa vs. Vettori
Marvin Vettori, DEC
I really like Vettori in this fight, I think He the number 3 guy in the division behind Rob and Izzy, I don't get why he's ranked so low on both Tapology and UFC ranking, He will beat Brunson, Canonor and he will beat Costa on Sunday morning, Vettori is just a solid, well rounded fighter with a great chin and cardio and I think the only way Vettori can lose this fight beside getting KO'd randomly is not putting the pressure on him, It easy to go 5 round if you Costa if your not doing much, But If Vettori doing ****, He will gas out eventully, Even though Vettori put his pants on backwards, He's not a dumb fighter and I think he will do this. I think Vettori is going to use his wresling to do this. Also Last point, MMA math time *****s, Vettori went to a split with Izzy once, And the secoud time just got slightly outpoint in 4 of the rounds and he argubly won the 3rd round. While Costa just got embarases, Got Ko'd in the secoud round, No one lost to Izzy as bad as Costa, I think even Rob Wilkenson put up a better fight

Dawson vs. Glenn
Grant Dawson, DEC
Grant Dawson is the next big thing at 155lb, He was suspose to fight CDF in a sink or swim fight for his carrar, He grappling is pretty legit and I think he should out grapple him, I will say I don't want to touch Dawson gambling as I think this fight could be a sweat as Rick Glenn is a tough ************ who comes to fight everytime, And I think he quite under rated

Clark vs. Edwards
Joselyne Edwards, DEC
Why is this so far up on the card, I honesly rather see the other 2 WMMA fight then this fight, I take Edwards as she a pro kickboxer but I hardly care enough to think about it for more then 2 secounds

Caceres vs. Choi
Alex Caceres, TKO, R2- meant to be Choi
Caceres has not a lot of chances in this fight, Choi is a really good Muay Thai fighter, Sure he got taken down by Evloev and Tucker mutiple time, But they're Tucker and Evloev, And he fight Caceres, Fully expecting a Muay Thai Clinic on Caceres, Caceres ain't winning this and Choi is a good parley piece in this spot

Grant vs. Trinaldo
Francisco Trinaldo, DEC
I take Trinaldo as I think Grant is pretty **** beside the KO punch, And Trinaldo never been KO'd in his carrer, But I be lying to say i'm not worried as Trinaldo is 43, So he could get KO'd badly

Negumereanu vs. Villanueva
Nick Negumereanu, TKO, R2
A part of me want to pick Villanuva as Negumereumu is pretty ****, But I think Ike might be more ****. The reason why this is on the main card is for big dumb violence, This is the defination of the MacDonalds of MMA, No salad eaters will enjoy and should skip this fight

Park vs. Rodrigues
Gregory Rodrigues, DEC
Rodirguez is the man, Bullied Todorovic and put Josh Friemd to sleep. If your in the know, You know how impresive that is

Ricci vs. Oliveira
Tabatha Ricci, SUB, R1
I think they're might be value on Oliveria on the principle that Tabatha Ricci is a 5-1 strawweight, She could easily be making mistakes in the fight, On the flip side Oliveira is more experince with a 12-4 record and was in their with Marina Rodriguez and I think Kanna Asakara is a top atomweight fight, But I could be mixing up names. But I will pick Ricci on the pick as I think her jiu-jitsu is legit as she one of those blackbelts and she did get an asswhopping by FIorot so now she know

Staropoli vs. Pickett
Laureano Staropoli, DEC
I take Staropoli as I seen good thing from him in his fight as even though he's on a 3 fight lossing streak, He was in competive fight with Means, Dolidez and Salkihov, All I seen from Pickett is getting his ass kick

Worthy vs. Herbert
Jai Herbert, TKO, R1
This fight is chinny guy who gets ko'd in his last few vs a powerful puncher, And I swear the chinny guy win for some reason most time, Or at least recently and It doesn't make any sense, Look at Landweir vs Klien or GM3 vs Muradov for recent example, I think this time I take Herbert as I think this be the time where the chinny guy don't get it done, And I don't get madlad points for picking a slight underdog where most of the recent one were upwards of +300

Molina vs. Lacerda
Jeff Molina, DEC
This should be a banger, Flyweights are so awesome, UFC needs more of them. Jeff Molina comes the throw down and the guy he fighting look quite legit. 11-1 with his only loss due to injury, And is the number 2 guy from Brazil

Souza vs. Markos
Livinha Souza, DEC
I have to pick Souza here, She has the 2 biggest advantages in WMMA in general. Size as Souza is a big girl and brains, I haven't notice Souza doing anything dumb ,but Markos fight IQ has been pretty appalling as of late, Just look at the last 2 cards, Mazo, Ladd, Nunes, Bueno Silva and Dern all lost because of fight IQ issues, All either lost or would at the very minumon had closer fights with they're opponents

For all its historical inaccuracies, their portrayal of Commodus was great, too bad they left out the lion pelt and club he carried around

@Erison something to consider is that Costa is not Adesanya. He's not even nearly as elusive, doesn't have anything like the footwork, doesn't cut 1/10th the angles, and does not have anything like the same counters. He does not have the sprawls. I guarantee he is not as slippery off his back.

Costa marches forward slinging bombs and is very open to being hit. Head is never off the centre line. That's also Vettori--kind of. He did show a lot of striking defence improvement against Adesanya, and has improved his boxing reads, but his footwork hadn't evolved nearly enough to the point that he was able to catch Izzy hard. That's understandable because Adesanya is Adesanya.

However, Vettori can take a serious shot, and can recover from it quickly. Costa got floored by one shot from Adesanya and never recovered. Marvin does hit hard. Even an amateurish Boxer carries legit power when they're that chonky. I'll be pretty surprised if  the eraser doesn't hit the deck at some point, and if Marvin does, Costa can either follow him down there and get reversed and beaten up, or wait for him to get up.

On top of all that, Vettori has the better conditioning.

Haven't looked at the lines, but there's probably a decent bet to be had on Marvin by something, somewhere.
