This might be a unpopular oppione, But I think Vettori might be the hardest matchup for Costa in the UFC, Vettori is a block head who impossble to KO and Paulo Costa is a 1-2 round fighter, I think he more likely to KO izzy or Rob then Vettori, I'm confendent in Vettori to beat Costa in a 5 rounder

A big problem for Vettori is those body kicks, Costa thrives against southpaws and his roundhouse is something to fear. Plus Vettori has had cardio problems in the past. Costa drives a few of them in to the ribs and Vettori won't be standing the same. I think Marvin wins but it isn't as one sided as others think imo

Why do people think this ? Anything could happen man. I remember when I bet Jiri to TKO +250 Oezdemir back at UFC 251 and everyone was saying that Oezdemir has a solid chin this and that and what happened he was and still is sleeping on fight island. I leaning Costa here but don't say anything can't happen coz it could.

Khama is ******

Predictions: 2 of 2 Winners, 1 Perfect, 140 Points   |   Tied for 3106th

This is a gimme fight. Herbert has had some rough losses, but they were both former top 15 competitors who are still kicking ass. He got thrown into deep waters and now we know how flawed and one dimensional he is. That being said, his dimension is pretty ******* formidable. Jai’s hand speed, along with his accuracy, is seriously impressive, and he has a lot of tools to make them work. Hand traps, fancy but subtle footwork, feints for days, a solid thai clinch, guy is a scary striker to deal with. If he had a stronger kicking game, he’d give the top strikers in the division a hard time.

Khama, while certainly no slouch despite what his record may imply, he’s a far less technical powerhouse lacking in multiple departments that Jai excels at (speed, lateral movement, combinations, defensive tools) but most importantly, his glass chin. Khama has been knocked out twice by two decent strikers. It doesn’t leave much up to the imagination what a cross from Herbert is going to do to him. Feel kinda bad though he was robbed of his winning streak against a guy is 110% on more juice than OJ (Get it? Cause he got away with murder? Hur hur hur)

Jai by KO in R2

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 9 of 14 Winners, 5 Perfect, 600 Points   |   Tied for 396th

Costa vs. Vettori
Marvin Vettori, DEC
Hard to pick. This fight is strange, as both foghters are clearly elite talents with a lot of skills, but both were absolutely humiliated by Adesanya, in and out of the fight... So it feels a little bit comical, watching those two talented, but bitter losers, facing each other... I really have no idea who wins this fight and how, but very interesting.

Negumereanu vs. Villanueva
Ike Villanueva, TKO, R2
Negumereanu gave the UFC one of the worst fighting performance EVER against a very mediocre (the fun but terrible Safarov). I recommand watching that fight if you want to have a good laugh. He rebounded well against Camur, but didn't look like a killer either. Villanueva on the other side, is way better than his reccord might suggest. At heavyweight he showed tremendous heart and toughness in a valliant losing effort against Sherman, and then excellent boxing technique and huge power vs Moreira, in what should have been the KO of the knight. His last fight was very competitive before he got caught by a Karate expert (Prachnio) with a body kick. I think he should win by devastating KO here, but considering the odds, maybe I'm missing something ?

Caceres vs. Choi
Alex Caceres, DEC
Caceres is on a very impressive 4 win run, and they reward him with a very dangerous, unranked, and kind of unknown fighter. I would've liked a Cub Swabson matchup, or a top 15.

Grant vs. Trinaldo
Francisco Trinaldo, DEC
Trinaldo really impressed me against Salikhov, even in a losing effort a showed he's still very competitive at a high level, at lightweight or welterweight, wich is stunning considering he's 43 years old.

Park vs. Rodrigues
Gregory Rodrigues, TKO, R2
I'm going with Rodrigues here, I know Park is on a good run, but Rodrigues looks dangerous as hell recently, and I don't want to say the DWCS loss was a fluke, he got caught, that's all, but I still think he's a way better fighter than Jordan Williams. Interesting fight.

Jones vs. Patrick II
Mason Jones, TKO, R3
It will likely go down exactly like the first fight, fun and one sided win for Jones. Kinda dispensable rematch if you ask me.

Alex Caceres 4 right win streak is impressive, come again ? And you think he beats Choi, you  must be having a laugh. Go watch Guan Wang Vs. Alex Caceres and you’ll see why he loses.

I don't want to argue with you Brandon Phil, as I think Caceres is inconsistant as hell, and I said myself Choi is a very dangerous fighter, so I certainly won't be surprised if he wins.

You, obviously, would be stunned to see a Caceres win here and I won't say you have a "laughable" oppinion, because it would be absurd and disrespectful, but let's say I think you're a little too confident about your pick.

I thought I saw improvements in Caceres overall game recently, some maturity, and to me he looks better than ever.
We will see if it's enough to win against the dangerous Choi.
I'm not sure. You're "laughing", well...

I also remember Guan running over Caceres (where the hell is Guan by the way ?), but I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. I was really impressed by Guan.

But saying his 4 fight win steak is impressive isn't a crazy oppinion :
Peterson isn't an elite fighter by any means but he's a tough customer for anybody, and Chase Hooper is young as a flower but a very promising fighter.

I just think Caceres, after winning 4 fights in a row and considering his passed experience (he gave Yair Rodriguez a real competitive fight a few years ago), should be rewarded with a top 15 opponent. You can disagree all you want, but laughing at me is a little bit too much, don't you think.

Have a nice day, but go laugh somewhere else.

Alan Patrick needs to be cut, escaped the first beating due to a can't continue eye poke... which was sus af, then pulls out a week until the fight. Coward... Jones just wants to give an ass beating and get onto his career, especially after that WAR with Mike Davis.

Agreed that is unprofessional asf. Feel bad for Jones tbh, like you said he just wants to start his career off already and it's getting delayed because of this BS. Hopefully the UFC does Jones a favor for having to put up with this.
