Is this even real costa just casually saying he won't make weight on the Wednesday before and openly saying he does t care , he said he will explain why he won't make weight after the fight on Saturday but still after all the wine **** and moaning after losing to adesanya he's just looking for attention which is a part of the game these days I guess

Predictions: 10 of 14 Winners, 2 Perfect, 605 Points   |   Tied for 361st

Ricci vs. Oliveira
Tabatha Ricci, SUB, R2
Ricci by submission for me. Her only loss was to Fiorot on short notice and in the flyweight division so it's not relevant of she is capable of. A long time training partner of Mackenzie Dern means she got a good ground game and she's got a few arms in her collection already. Most of all and what is paramount here to me is experience, she's fought three times in the LFA and once in the UFC when Oliveira's only win in a major organization was a 108 lbs catchweight decision win to Alyssa Garcia who was 3-3 at that time.

Staropoli vs. Pickett
Jamie Pickett, TKO, R2
I'm pickin's the tall guy, I think he could capitalize on his more than 8 inches reach advantage and get the W.

Worthy vs. Herbert
Jai Herbert, TKO, R1
Might be too obvious but I'm picking Herbert, 'cause he's got knockout power which has been Worthy's problem laslty and most of all with a 3 inches deficit in reach. And in terms of dynamic, both fighters are on a losing streak, but Worthy got knocked out twice in the first round against good fighters but not as good as Moicano and Trinaldo to whom Herbert's lost.

Molina vs. Lacerda
Jeff Molina, DEC
I'm going for El Jefe for this one. Both fighters seem to be well rounded with submission/Ko/decision wins but I think experience could make the difference here and Molina's fought at a higher level of competition, that's mainly why I'm pickin' him but I think the fight will be pretty even.

This card is ******* sick , not just because the last 2 weeks have been poorer than normal, but most of these fights will be bangers, apart from the female fights no offense it's just true tho

Jones vs. Onama
Mason Jones, TKO, R1
Jones is hungry!!! Man before the UFC the guy was perfect in the CWFC, first UFC fight he fought his heart and lost a decision to Davis in a crazy fight, last time he got robbed by Nuguette as he was cruisin' to victory, the same Nuguette who just ran away as the rematch was scheduled. I don't want to disrespect David Onama but I think he's chosen the bad guy to take on short notice!

Mason has been ****** in the ass his whole time since he came to ufc the first fight against Mike Davis was a great close fight but I think mason won by clearly pushing the pace and giving more output , and the last Brazilian guy clearly *****ing out of the fight by claiming he couldn't continue and has now pulled out of the rematch as he knew he would get destroyed

lol Costa acting really weird. Seems spaced out and confused, doesn't seem to know what weightclass he's fighting in. Did he even have a true training camp? Is he ready for this at all?

Gotta lean Vettori heavy based on how bizarre Costa seems, ever since Izzy honestly, but definitely now. Is there any chance Vettori stops him early on? Over 2.5 at -165 seems like a lock...

Paulo Costa is a such clown, always has been. For a longe time i already dislike him, and im brazilian. For the past months this stupid ****'s been talking a lot o **** in internet, about polítics, covid and everything. I hope he gives his purse share to Vettori, and if, by any means, he wins this fight, its gonne be such a **** move to claim a fight with the Winner of Izzy x Whittaker. Paulo is basicaly cheating over here, hope UFC do something serious about It.

Martinez vs. Lazishvili
Jonathan Martinez, TKO, R3
If Martinez's TDD can hold up I'm confident he can win this fight. Zviad sorta just plods forward and doesn't really throw much offence off his own, he's always looking for the takedowns and Martinez in the past has shown very strong TDD and I think he'll show it again here. Martinez is also fast on the feet too and has very good kicks, he does have to be careful when throwing kicks though because Zviad can catch them but I think if Martinez sticks on the outside and sets them up he can get away with it. The longer it stays on the feet the more chances Martinez has of finishing things, I think he gets the finish here too

Lmao if you think Mason Jones won that fight against Mike Davis, you should go rewatch it. Mike Davis was boxing his ears in + had more takedowns. Jones only had durability in that fight. Great fight but no way in hell anybody should of gave it to Jones. + Outstruck Jones every round.

For real that was a clear 29-28 for Davis, don’t know how you could possibly give that fight to Jones. I’d love to see Davis back in there before the year ends against like an Alexander Hernandez or Dober, dude has potential just isn’t very active

I see everyone jumping on Vettori's bandwagon now after the events of the last few days, and I can't blame them. However, If Costa's price keeps going up, I'm going to go on him at a certain point. He's already at +150, up from around +120, and the catch weight is going to be a MASSIVE advantage for him, and he knows it.
Just fwiw, Costa walks around at ~225lbs.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 10 of 14 Winners, 5 Perfect, 655 Points   |   Tied for 164th

Costa vs. Vettori
Marvin Vettori, DEC
Not a for sure pick right now especially with everything going on. Was Costa beginning of week but just can't now. Really have 0 clue how this will go, both sloppy footwork; really comes down to defense in this fight wether striking for Vettori or td defense for Costa.

Dawson vs. Glenn
Grant Dawson, SUB, R2
Expecting Dawson to hold Glenn down most of the fight, either late sub or unanimous DEC. Either way Dawson should get it done with ease unless Glenn puts on a striking clinic.

Clark vs. Edwards
Jessica-Rose Clark, DEC
50/50 good ass wmma's matchup. Expecting Clark to have improved her boxing while improving her wrestling with DC, Edwards is decent but don't expect her to avoid the TD'S with 37% TD Defense.

Caceres vs. Choi
Seung Woo Choi, TKO, R1
Confused why Choi is fighting down tbh imo, but Carceres is fighting low level comp while Choi is accelerating past decent level comp. Don't expect this one to last long.

Grant vs. Trinaldo
Francisco Trinaldo, DEC
Grant has looked trash moving backwards all fight with little output, Trinaldo is old but has a good chin with little output too. If Grant was any younger i'd go with him but just can't here against grandpa.

Negumereanu vs. Villanueva
Nick Negumereanu, SUB, R2
Villanueva hits a wall after the first 5 mins, Negumereanu doesn't look that good either but should be able to get him to the ground in the 2nd round beating him into submission or KO.

Park vs. Rodrigues
Jun Yong Park, DEC
Good matchup, close matchup. Would say Rodrigues if Jun Yong Park didn't have a fooking mutant chin. That chin is made of titanium.

Jones vs. Onama
Mason Jones, TKO, R2
Alan Patrick deserves to be banished to the shadow realm. Onama is a good fighter in the first 5 mins, looks like he gets sloppy later the fight goes + Jones has showed us a granite chin so far.

Ricci vs. Oliveira
Tabatha Ricci, SUB, R1
Think Ricci will waste 0 time getting this to the ground, only thing I'm a little sus on is her wrestling but Oliveira doesn't have the ground game to compete with Ricci; Ricci just has to get it to the ground.

Staropoli vs. Pickett
Laureano Staropoli, DEC
Pretty straight forward fight, Staropoli will be pushing forward while Pickett is moving backwards unless Pickett lands a lucky KO punch can't see him winning especially since Staropoli has showed a decent chin.

Worthy vs. Herbert
Jai Herbert, TKO, R2
Was Worthy liked his power but I think he has really underperformed all loses by finish while Herbert has fought some dogs. Herbert was piecing up Renato Moicano for a decent amount of time in that fight, hoping Herbert's chin can survive those first 5 minutes.

Molina vs. Lacerda
Jeff Molina, TKO, R3
Liked Lacerda tape but not enough film on him down the line late in the 2nd and 3rd round. Molina tends to heat up the further the fight goes, think he gets a late finish.

Souza vs. Markos
Randa Markos, DEC
Souza has looked sucked out recently and has just not been there. Markos is fighting for her career here and honestly think she gets it done.

Martinez vs. Lazishvili
Jonathan Martinez, DEC
Haven't liked how Martinez looked lately but he's been fighting decent comp compared to a dude with 10 wins against 0-0 opponents. No way I'm taking a chance on Lazishvili...

The biggest concern if you're considering backing Costa at this point is if he is concealing an injury.
