Most likely she refused to sign up for additional fights before the last fight on her contract. UFC sends a low-ball offer because she's boring and not very good. She expects to win her last fight and make a impressive outing to negotiate for more money. She still wins, the fight sucks, and the UFC gives her the boot. Just my take

I hate when fighter get cut off of wins, A win a win, I don't care how **** it is, The point of fighting is to win, All the other stuff is just extra, I don't know if this is a unpopular oppione, or not, But I think winning should alway secure a job, That the main purpose of fighting or any sporting venture in general. I wouldn't  of mind as much if she got cut before the Souza fight as she was coming off 4 lost, But they kept her and she did her job well and won, Why should she get punish ????

I never feel great when I have to agree with Fisty but he's 100% correct and you're all ********. I am glad bore-me-to-tears-elmo has been cut.  I similarly don't care that Souza is gone. She was basically the 'I can't believe it's not butter' of Amanda Nunes, and was probably the lioness's Zygotic twin that got out competed for nutrients in the womb.

I guarantee not one you at any point in time were hoping either of them would be booked against anybody.
