I still don't understand why you make predictions for all the favorites of the World?
Do you have head problems? Or do you want to stand out that way?

@bazik shouldn’t you be busy taking a Soviet-era bus to a lead hammer factory so you can support your half dozen children and catholic orthodox wife?

I love seeing other people's opinions on events, but man every time I come to the UFC threads it always melt my brain. First, someone saying TKZ was worse than Seung Woo Choi. Now it's whatever this is lmao.

@BlueDash. You have to sift through the grime to achieve enlightenment. It’s like how fighters have to give themselves brain damage to get better at not receiving brain damage. Welcome to being a true hardcore and sifting through the spastic nature of MMA fans on the internet.

@Greg, sorry lol.

How exactly does Overeem benefit from taking a dive in this fight?  He is already the underdog.  What kind of thought process is that?

I love these threads, they take me back to the anime forums years and years ago. It's just this time people aren't arguing over animated characters, it's over grown ass people giving each other brain damage.

The real question that should be asked here is if Frankie Edgar can pull off a upset win.  I agree that Cory Sandhagen is on the rise and he should be the rightful favorite as the odds reflect but his most recent win, he knocked out Marlon Moraes who was also knocked out again most recently by Rob Font.  Other than his Moraes win, the most notable win that Sandhagen has is against Raphael Assuncao.  He lost by submission to Aljamain Sterling last year.

Can the veteran Edgar pull off a hard fought upset win similar to his win against Pedro Munhoz last year?

Can Frankie use his wrestling to win this fight by decision?  I know Edgar is chinny as of late as evidenced by Korean Zombie knocking him out.  How much of that was due to Frankie coming in as a last minute replacement for Ortega?

FanDuel has Frankie Edgar by decision at +550.  Maybe worth a shot?

I wrote about only one thing. All over the situation with this fight. I was hit by 2 bums with whom I did not start a dialogue at all. @Gregory if I broke the rules, send me to jail. I live in Ukraine and will spread rot to the last rot on the Russian fighters.

@bazik

I understand the political tension between Russia and Ukraine and so your dislike for Russian fighters makes perfect sense in that context but think about it this way.... What have those specific Russian fighters ever done against you personally? Even if they have said pro Russian government things (might or might not have, I haven't looked into it as I try to keep politics out of my MMA opinions) given how oppressive Putin has been with his critics, they would probably sing his praises for their and their family's own safety rather than risk standing up to him. A nation and it's government are not one and the same.

thanks for the answer. There is a lot of corruption in Russia. I personally believe that sport should be without politics. But when they go out to the main battle Edmen Shahbazyan humiliates the whole country and is still not fired. This is very insulting to me

The main thing is the result. When I write about Russian fighters, I am fully aware of my actions. Many disagree with me, but I am aware of my words. Volkov will lose if Overeem wants it or is bought. Overeem beat many Russian prospectuses Andrei Arlovski, Sergey Pavlovich, Alexey Oleinik

Overeem has only one drawback - age and that's it. He has a much better chance of winning. The one who makes more bets in bookmakers will lose. 2021 is a reality

@Bazik 3 bums attacked you, you forget Tieoken. When looking for the problem in the chat, find the common denominator ^^^^^^^^^ (you):) Also Nothing says dont pay attention to my opinion then hating on Russian Fighters because they invaded your country and did it easily, accusing them of taking bribes and writing insults like they are written in green crayon. Maybe dont hate of fighters because of what country they came from? i shouldnt even have to explain this

@bazik

I agree with you in that I think Overeem is the more well rounded fighter and I've also picked him to win. One thing I still don't understand is why you think there's the risk that the fight could be fixed. The UFC aren't exactly the most honorable of organisations, especially when it comes to the fighters contracts but I think a fix is just too implausible at that level. Lower down in the regional MMA scene I've heard stories of fixed fights where fighters have got someone to bet on their opponents and then throw the fights or just taken bribes to make ends meet but I just can't see somthing like that happening at UFC level if nothing else because the UFC would have spend a fortune to keep everyone quiet and the UFC don't like spending more than they need to. It just doesn't make any business sense.
