I literally have went on record and said i'm not the best picker nor do I think I am.
I joined tapology to see how I would do if I were to pick a winner on all the fights I never researched or cared for. I have terrible calls all the time, mostly prelims.
Obviously one doesn't bet every fight on the board, unless you're a person begging to lose money.

Nice calls on those dogs, i perfectly called minner by first round sub and erosa by 3rd round sub in my cohort.
my friend brought up that erosa pick the other day...he couldn't believe it himself we had Erosa w/ over 2.5 rounds
if you haven't won several thousand a couple times, then you're not on my level.
maybe that's why i come off as a bit of a wise guy...because if you don't play wise, you cut your own throat.
Gambling isn't a sport.

There is always value in women's MMA, but at the end of the day....it's women's MMA...I only said i advise not to bet on women because....well...it's women.
For instance, I knew a lot of people who parlayed great picks with Mariya Agapova when she fought dobson...I'm alright when it comes to the ladies.
only 6 percent of tap had Marina and I called the fight perfectly. i'm proud of that one.

Gianni once said a great thing that i will never forget.
It was when Ferguson fought Gaethje.
He was rooting for ferguson, but he had a lot of money on Gaethje.
He said "MY PICK IS FERGUSON, BUT MY BET IS GAETHJE".
can't be biased when betting.

That was also me when Dobson fought Mariya but go ahead.
Keep hating, i'll be here

Anyway, my number one pick for this card is Mike Rodriguez to win by knockout.  Danilo Marques was almost knocked out in his previous fight with Khadis Ibrahimov but Khadis was fighting hesistant and not pulling the trigger which helped get him get cut by the UFC in addition to the fact he was on a losing streak.  Khadis should have beaten Danilo by knockout though so Mike shouldn't have any problems with this one.

I believe they are giving Mike Rodriguez an easy fight after what happened with Ed Herman.  Based on the current odds on Mike Rodriguez, if you choose him by knockout, you'll get a good return.  You can even choose him by knockout in the first round if you want to make more.

Here are all of my picks for this card:

Alistair Overeem moneyline
Corey Sandhagen by knockout
Beneil Dariush moneyline
Mike Rodriguez by knockout
Timur Valiev by decision
Devonte Smith moneyline
Denys Bondar moneyline
Youssef Zalal by decision

Potential Underdogs:
Andre Ewell by decision
Joseleyn Edwards moneyline

The only one I am fairly certain about is Mike Rodriguez by knockout.  I always choose one sure fire pick for every card... on the last one I chose Joanne Calderwood by decision and the previous one before that was Max Holloway by decision.

Andre Ewell has a chance to win because he is mainly a decision/points fighter fighting another decision/points fighter.  So when you have two points based fighters against each other, anything can happen such as the judges giving it to Ewell in a close fight.  If Andre was fighting a finisher, then I would bet against him on this card but he is also fighting someone who goes to decisions a lot so there's a potential underdog there at amazing odds.  Andre Ewell by decision will be at least +425 come fight day.

Unfortunately for me, I can only prop bet main events and co-main events at the book I use.
They actually also took away the privilege of parlaying a fighter with an over/under (I.E. Ewell w/ over 2.5 rounds)
the books have been tightening up as of late last year in my state. I don't appreciate it one bit.

Explanations for some of my parlays:

Sandhagen in my opinion is a huge favorite and I honestly agree with it, I don't really see him losing (not saying he can't). He's younger and more fresh, Edgar has been in some tough fights lately never going to know where his body might be at. I feel Sandhagen is going to look for the KO and he might get it.

I think Kape is the real deal, has very high potential, he was fighting the top bantamweights of Rizin (which is the highest level weight class at Rizin), when he was a natural flyweight, so I do think he should be adjusting well to the division and I think his skill ceiling is really high in general. Pantoja is a very tough opponent, but I wanna believe in Kape. I am huge fan of Rizin and I would love to see one of their stars shine in the UFC.

Rosa is someone I actually think is pretty underrated in the women's bantamweight division, she has pretty heavy hands, she throws a nice jab. She will throw a lot of volume in a match which will tend to help her when it comes to a decision. Jocelyn Edwards is also very good, I would not be betting on this if Edwards wasn't on short notice again, as their pros and cons kinda evens out to me. Edwards somewhat gassed out in the 3rd round against Wu, and I feel taking another short notice fight so quick, can't be good for the body and Rosa is a cardio machine. So I have Rosa winning by decision.

Devonte Smith has been off for a bit, but the dude has heavy hands. He's one of those guys with so much power that he can easily knocked you out with a punch and his cardio while not great, is better than what a lot of what people would expect. De Silva does a lot of like "launching" type punches which could leave him open for a counter hook and Smith has the power to knock out someone with a solid punch so I'm going for him.

Macy Chiasson in her short career has picked up some pretty interesting wins against Gina Mazany, Pannie Kianzard, and Shanna Young, etc. I personally think Macy brings it every fight, I could see her doing a lot of damage to Reneau early on and finish her. Reneau is also getting very up there in age so her durability is somewhat unknown.

All my bets are trash don't listen, i'm just rambling

Really like Macy Chiasson and Joselyn Edwards to win. Reneau, which i like to watch, gets too comfortable on her back searching for subs. When she cant, she looses a decision. Chiasson gonna grind her in the guard for 3 rounds. Edwards looked very good on her debut.

Osbourne v Bondar

Predictions: 9 of 12 Winners, 3 Perfect, 555 Points   |   Tied for 338th

Osbourne has some creative striking, and I think he’ll have the edge in this fight with power and speed. He also has shown some decent subs from the bottom in the past. Bondar takes the center of the cage with his hands up and uses good footwork and angles to get inside. Even though he’s susceptible to combinations, he has a good chin and a good clinch. I think they’ll both take the center in the first, and I think Osbourne will look flashy and unpredictable to start. But I think Bondar will eventually get inside and clinch along the fence. Like Osbourne’s other opponents, Bondar will be able to get him down and fend off Ode’s sub attempts from the bottom. Bondar has good elbows from inside the guard, and I think he’ll do that well in this fight. Ode will expose himself trying to get back to his feet and Bondar will get the RNC or arm triangle sub. If he doesn’t get this in the first round, I think the second will look the same and he’ll finish here. (All of Bondar’s wins have been finishes, and I think he keeps it up in this fight.) We haven’t seen much of Ode’s abilities in later rounds, but his record suggests to me that he fades as the fight goes, which benefits Bondar who has a few mid to late-fight finishes.
