The boxing was pretty back and forth, I thought. I thought Grant was looking tired and wasting too much energy in those too far away predictable knees. His boxing has definitely improved though. Gritty guy, fun to root for.

Great fight with plenty of striking action to start the event this evening and a sweet Knock Out by Davey Grant 🇬🇧 He knocked Martin Day out cold...Martin Day did the right thing in Round 3 by pressuring Davey Grant, trying to out land him and try and get the finish. However, in Round 2 Day was blocking too many punches with his face and the morale of Round 3, Day Must remember that when in offense mode, don't forget to defend...Blocking punches with your face usually leads you to being KO'ed and Day's case it was emphatically!! Great opening contest on Fight Island though 🥊👊👏🇬🇧🤔👍
