lol @Hyrm Masvidal is basically incapable of fear at this point. Only reason he doesn't want Edwards is because the money isn't right, and the  rankings aren't either. Leon needs to beat RDA to get that one or a legit top 10'er. I think Gamebred would punch his lights out TBH, that's just not a good fight for him.

@Free I don't like Askren. Bores the **** out of me and is a cherry-picker. That knee wasn't luck, he trained it because he knew that Askren was going to shoot right out the gate. Ben is ******** if anyone is. How you could not know, or assume that that was likely going to be on the cards is beyond me. I mean for real--Masvidal literally came running in and was setting it up, and he literally tried to tackle a flying knee with his face  instead of just moving out of the way, resetting and shooting from a safer position.

@fish your right Edwards has to win this then him and masvidal can finish they're business. Edwards talked **** and got hit it seems right but masvidal had his hands behind his back to seem in threatening to close distance and cheap shot Edwards. Pure cheap shot. Seems to be a pattern for masvidal. I'd love to c Edwards vs Jorge

Colby and Robbie got business too. Pettis and Nate got business so usman gets to rest.

@fish I know he trained it but it was still luck Ben fell for it. If they fought 99 moretimes it would never work again no matter how much he trains it. We'll see if it helps him against the other wrestlers Colby usman ECT.

masvidal played it perfectly, he lured askren into thinking one way and went the other, a perfect gamebred gameplan. for ben to fall for the same deception a second time would be staggeringly stupid. but hey, in my opinion ben isnt the sharpest knife in the drawer anyway, so who knows what would happen if they fought again.

RDA vs EDWARDS

rda by late sub.

when i first saw this fight my initial thought was edwards, but after thinking and reading comments here i agree with  most that edwards isnt going to ko rda so he has a clear but very hard path to victory.

OLEINIK vs HARRIS

harris by 1st round ko.

ive made very good money betting oleinik by sub, and honestly a few bucks on the by sub prop might not be a bad play. but i think harris is too fast and catches him early.

HARDY vs ADAMS

adams by ko round 1 or 2

damn these are 2 big men, both 6'5" and cut weight to make 265, so anything can happen. but i think adams is the more well rounded fighter, if that even means anything here and i dont like hardy. so im pulling for adams.

HOOKER vs VICK

hooker by decision or maybe a late ko

this could be fight of the night for sure. neither of these guys ever gets near a title shot imo. but they both throw down and this should be a fun one.

TRINALDO vs HERNANDEZ

trinaldo by ko round 2 or 3

this is another potential fight of the night imo. i guess we'll get some questions answered about hernandez, trinaldo  is another seasoned vet like cerrone, so we'll see what hernandez can do here.

ARLOVSKI vs ROTHWELL

rothwell by boring split decision?

i guess its possible for rothwell to ko arlovski, his chin is pretty much toast at this point. and its also possible for arlovski to weasel a split decision, but i'll take rothwell. very low confidence in this one.

CACERES vs PETERSON

caceres by decision

its hard to have confidence in caceres with a record of 14-12, but he should get a decision here, another low confidence pick.

PENNINGTON vs ALDANA

aldana by decision or maybe late stoppage.

i agree with most of what ive read here i really doubt if pennington has had enough time to recover from the beating and the betrayal by her corner. i guess we'll see.

ALVEY vs ABREU

aberu by sub round 1 or 2

alvey is an easily solved puzzle at this point, he hasnt changed one thing in his game since ive been watching him. just avoid the right hand and you're pretty much home free.

MODAFFERI vs MAIA

modafferi by decision

roxanne is weird combination of late bloomer, persistence and a goofy but nice personality. i will always be rooting for her.

BORG vs SILVA

borg by boring decision

no one ever got excited to hear ray borg was on a card. but this is a big step up in competition for silva. bet the over or goes to decision on this one.

Hernandez vs Trinaldo is interesting. You know I really won't be surprised if massaranduba just KO's him into the next century really. Vick couldn't get him out of there and Hernandez is nowhere near as dangerous. That said Lee subbed him. I dunno, it depends on if Trinaldo's TDD holds up. I'm taking him.

That's the hardest fight for me to predict since we've seen Francisco be dominant as hell against opponents who can't keep their distance. He absolutely obliterated Felder and Yancy. For all his athleticism, Alex's defense is atrocious and he backs up in a straight line, which doesn't bode well for his chances against a guy like Trinaldo on the feet.

Like you said though, defensive wrestling will be an absolute must for Trinaldo, and that's the thing that keeps me from picking him. He had a good showing against Lee in that department before getting rocked, but we have now seen that Kevin relies on overpowering his opponent to the floor rather than using good entries. Alex might be the same, but it seems like he has the cardio to go with it, albeit he hasn't been tested as much.

And he's also very buff which gives him 3+ points in attack come fight night.

Yeah man, totally. He movies in straight lines, happy to take one to give one....risky game to play against Francisco.

Theres a lot of close fight that can go eiter way between good level contender. Should be a greath card.

(take this with a grain of salt) but i'm pretty confident in The Hangman vs Depleted Vick, who should've changed weight-classes after Felder beat him. So, IMO this should be Vicks last fight and 3rd L in a row at LW. Needs to move up and fight where he belongs, no more short cuts.

I feel the same. Gonna be a long (or very short) night for James, especially since he won't have a huge height and reach advantage here.

Unless Dan is a complete muppet on the mat, he should be able to beat him.

Rafael dos Anjos, DEC
I may or may not be underestimating Dos Anjos. I don’t know but what I do know is I underestimated Dos Anjos last time out. Sorry Rafael. I think he will maul Leon and get a boring decision. He just is a great fighter.

Trinaldo vs. Hernandez

dos Anjos vs. Edwards
Leon Edwards, DEC

Oleinik vs. Harris
Alexey Oleinik, SUB, R1
