I still can't believe Roxy beat shevchenko. I don't see her beating carmouche though.
Alexi takes two steps forward and three steps back as usual.
Rocky won't ever be the same after that beating Nunes put on her. I think her corner not letting her quit did some real psychological damage on her. Weak coaching.

Predictions: 5 of 13 Winners, 2 Perfect, 325 Points   |   Tied for 1716th

Carmouche vs. Modafferi
Roxanne Modafferi, SUB, R3
I think Rocky will come out and land a nice boxing combo, then go to the ground and follow it up with ground and pound. Roxy will lay on Liz until she can crank in an armbar.

Oleinik vs. Harris
Walt Harris, TKO, R1
I have Walt coming out swinging for the fences and getting in a beautiful combo, Alexey will try for a takedown, it will get defended, and Walt will knock him out COLD.

Pennington vs. Aldana
Irene Aldana, SUB, R2
I think Irene will come out aggressive, and land combos, then come round two Irene will get a RNC.

Remember when Ben Rothwell lost to Dan Christison in Atlantic City in 2005?  They were both throwing leather like nobody's business until, out of the blue, Dan changed tactics and submitted him with a kimura.

That punched Dan's ticket to TUF 2 after Kerry Schall got injured.

Oleinik vs. Harris
Walt Harris, TKO, R1
I think Harris will Oleinik before he has a chance to submit him, but wouldn't be surprised if it goes viceversa

Hardy vs. Adams
Greg Hardy, TKO, R1
Virtually identical, though Hardy seems the faster of the two

Vick vs. Hooker
Daniel Hooker, TKO, R2
Hooker should be the more technically sound, though I wonder how the barboza fight's gonna affect him

Bautista vs. Son
Jin Soo Son, DEC
Both have a lot of potential, but Son holding his own against Petr ******* Yan sways it for me

Caceres v Peterson
Alex Caceres, DEC
I've been waiting for Peterson to live up to his potential since LFA days.  He just never seems to come in with much of a game plan.  He comes to scrap.  So does Caceres, but Caceres is better at it. Caceres's creativity for the win.  Maybe another split decision for these veterans of split decisions.

Pennington v Aldana
Raquel Pennington, DEC
Aldana's boxing will force Pennington to the take down, where she will just grind out a decision with her superior wrestling.  Here's hoping Rocky gets her mojo back.

Oleinik v Harris
Walt Harris, TKO, R1
Harris has impressed me with his fight IQ, and Oleinik is a solvable puzzle.  I think Harris cracks him in the first round.

Modafferi vs Maia

Modafferi, dec.

This fight is going to be like when you get a poorly assembled/stacked burger at the mcdonalds drive through:You go in expecting it to be ****, but nothing can prepare you for the moment when you're eating it on the drive home, pull up at the lights to take a bite and the pickle, a flap of rogue cheese, 8 gallons of sauce and particularized onion slides over your lower jaw and hand, and you scream 'CUUUUUUNT!' really loudly and punch the steering wheel then and look through the passenger window to see a really hot ***** staring back at you in disgust like you've got your nuts pressed against the glass because you look like a ******* spastic ragetard throwing a tantrum with **** all over your face.

I dunno. I'll take the one that looks like the leader of the North American Harry potter fan club who wins by falling on people and humping them like the beachmaster sealion for a UD.

Borg vs Silva

Borg, Boredom 30-24.

As I soon as I read the name Ray Borg, I immediately yawn, and start to feel like I'm in the waiting room at the doctor's or the line at the post office.  Ray Borg. Even his name is somnambulistic. Try it out next time you're having trouble trying to sleep. No need for sleeping pills--he's a ******* wholistic miracle! Just meditate on the name like it's the sacred Ohm or any other mantra: Raaaaaaaaymoooooond Booooooorg.......Raaaaaaymoooond Boooorg...

You'll be out like a light in 5 minutes or less guaranteed. Will work faster on children too. And I fully expect him to bore his opponent into submission here. Literally the only fighter in the history of combat sports who can comatize people without throwing a single strike.

Sam Alvey vs Abreu

Alvey, KO/TKO R2.

What can you say about Sam apart from that like all mentally disabled he's a perpetual Pollyanna and people like him the way they like smiles on dogs, and cats trying to drink gelatine, and for essentially the same reasons. He likes cooking too apparently, and makes his wife cakes. And I'm sure they're pretty good as far a white wings packet mixes with canned icings go,  the fact they have ****, leggo and toy cars strewn through them notwithstanding.

Hopefully the strategy of shaving his own face into the back of his head to confuse his opponent into not knowing which way he is facing pays off for him and he gets the finish.

Pennington Vs Aldana
Aldana, dec

I remember reading that someone hacked Penningtons phone a while back, and nude pictures of her have been leaked all over the internet. I've not seen them because quite frankly if I wanted to see Raquel Pennington naked....I'd go to the ******* zoo!

Anyway, Aldana should get it done here. Pennington isn't great but shes very durable and high volume. I think she survives but drops it 30-27.

Match-ups i'm confident in*

Alvey vs Klidson

Abreu via Tap or Snap

All I can see happening is Smilin Sam getting a limb snapped. The Russian Terror could armbar an Anaconda. The big, awkward, slow-punch throwing Alvey will put himself right in a SUB. Alvey KO the Russian Terror? Highly unlikely IMO

Massaranduba vs Average Hernandez

Trinaldo via Devastation. KO/TKO.

I wouldn't like this match-up for Alex even if he beat Cowboy. Francisco is a seasoned Vet with a cold-blooded attack. Barring the youngster improving 1000% over his time off, I see Hernandez getting beaten at every single facet before succumbing to damage.

Big Ticket Harris vs The Boa Oleinik

Harris via KO/TKO

We all love Aleksei, and for good reason. He perfected 1 of the rarest SUB's possibly..but lets be honest. NONE of his wins are over guys still in the UFC. Hunt gets choked out by the cords on ceiling fans, anybody can SUB Hunt. Albini is trash, cool W though. Browne, Pesta, Rosholt & Anthony Freaking Hamilton....Aleskei has looked good vs the very best bums the UFC could offer...not anymore. This will not end well for the Boa.
