Prediction Comments

Predictions: 9 of 13 Winners, 8 Perfect, 715 Points   |   Tied for 37th with 1 other

dos Anjos vs. Edwards
Leon Edwards, DEC
Thank God those idiots didn't decide to make Roxie Modaferri v. Jennifer Maia, the main event. We all know they'll do it (cough GDR/Ladd cough cough)... But really, this is a great fight. The more I break it down in my head, the more confused and cloudy my picking mind gets.

Oleinik vs. Harris
Walt Harris, TKO, R1
Maaaan. I think I've only picked Oleinik once, and lost that pick. But, I've picked against him numerous times and been torched everytime. He always manages to submit these guys somehow. But iI think the buck stops here. "The Big Ticket" hits like a Mack truck. Harris has 1 round to get him outta there, or he's gonna gas and be submitted.

Hardy vs. Adams
Greg Hardy, TKO, R1
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHY.... The UFC is putting sooo much stock behind ******* Greg Hardy? They continue giving him prime spots on the main card over & over. He's not even that goood, annnd he's a ************* example of a good man. I want NOTHING MORE than to see this ************ get ***** slapped around the octagon, before somebody spikes him on his neck and he's instantly paralyzed and his career is over ... Wishful thinking. But the one thing I did notice, He's finally not a -500 favorite. that ****s a straight pickem

Vick vs. Hooker
Daniel Hooker, TKO, R2
This is the fight I'm looking most forward to. Maaaan whatta ****** fight. I think James Vick is the perfect matchup for Hooker to return to. I expect fireworks as looong as it lasts. I expect nothing less than a fight of the year candidate after this one.

Trinaldo vs. Hernandez
Alexander Hernandez, DEC
I hope to have my biggest question answered. Is Alex Hernandez actually pretty goood and someone to reeaaally keep an eye on...... Or was he just a victim of incredible luck when he 1st stormed into the UFC and Cerrone showed he's not as good as ppl thought? We're gonna know after this fight.

Arlovski vs. Rothwell II
Ben Rothwell, TKO, R2
Welp, Check off another loss for Arlovski. Dana White claimed the reason for letting all these guys go, was because they'd never be a champion. But yet he keeps guys around like Arlovski. Don't get me wrong, Arlovski DESERVES RESPECT, but let's be honest, he ain't ever coming close to a UFC title again. And if anyone else, were to have the string of losses and draws, and 1 win every 6 fights, they woulda been released yesterday.

Caceres vs. Peterson
Alex Caceres, DEC
Battle of the average... Only Caceres is a little better form of average.

Pennington vs. Aldana
Irene Aldana, DEC
I still don't think Rocky has mentally overcome her last fight. She was defeated before Nunes destroyed her. She wanted out, She already mentally checked outta that fight, and her ************* corner, pretty much served a lion, Rocky on a silver platter. To send your fighter, who told u she was done, had nothing left, and already checked out mentally, back into fight was kinda ****** up. They say it's sooo dangerous to go into a fight where you're not ready and willing to possibly take a beating, or you're not even thinking about the fight and your corner is aware of this and still send you out to get mauled, kinda ****** up. I'd lose trust in my corner if their 1st priority was not my safety... My prediction, Pennington is still defeated from the last fight, that it don't matter how poorly Aldana does, she's already bagged the win.

Alvey vs. Abreu
Klidson Abreu, DEC
I reeaaally have Noooo goddamn clue.

Modafferi vs. Maia II
Jennifer Maia, DEC
Roxie Modaferri is one strange ************* woman... It almost irritates me, coz her fight style fits her daaang personality. Sooo ******* weird.

Borg vs. Silva
Ray Borg, DEC
God Dammmmit...

I think RDA wears him out from the top and subs him in the 4th.

Here's the issue I have with Edwards in this fight: He's not the kind of finisher who has the one punch stopping power to put RDA away. He's more like the kind of finisher Tony Ferguson is--and Tony couldn't Finish RDA either. He's also better at what he does than Edwards.

Now, add on to that Edwards has looked pretty average against even moderate grapplers (got singled easily by Silva, owned by Usman, and  apart from that second round the Gunny fight was close) and I favor RDA in this even more. Can Edwards handle getting laid on, tossed around, kneed in the thigh while pressed against the fence for five rounds and still steal a decision? ******* doubt it. RDA just outgrinded lee who is a way better wrestler and does have power in his hands.

Leon will have to finish this one early, or he will get wrecked late, or drop the decision. And finishing RDA aint easy.

No way RDA tries using wrestling against Edwards. RDA is gonna for what he always does. Kickboxing.
Edwards will be the one grappling pushing up against the cage and getting takedowns.

Edwards by unanimous decision

Edit : or the exact opposite happens.

True. I kind of envy people who can moderate their emotions and remain civil at all times.I don't think it's a teachable skill, you either have it or you don't. And though he might be smarter and better natured than me... I console myself in the knowledge that at least I won't be **** out of luck when I hit bacon belt!
