All I can basically do is break out the, "I have black friends" argument as it related to my decades of martial arts training. I have nothing but respect for the Country and its martial artists, many of whom I call friends, mentors and role models.
I have suggested in the past that I believed the Brazilian MMA scene had more of a doping problem than the U.S. scene, not because Brazilians cheat more, but because of the Brazilian commission. Maybe I was wrong about that. Maybe not.
For what it's worth (and other members here who have known me for ages will attest,) Brazilian fighters were consistently some of my favorites to interview when I ran the Tapology blog, particularly Demian Maia. Man's a saint.
