@Yoss

I agree with you 100%.

Good on him for being a nice guy, as I prefer respectful athletes. But his brand of it just seems unnatural, haha. I noticed the only time he wasn't smiling was when Paige almost cried when talking about her loss during the press conference.

Dana has hope that Sage VanZant will happen. He just needs to get Sage to Team Alpha Male, as long as Daddy Northcutt doesn't think their training regimen is too hard on his son.

There's respectful and there's 100% branded.

He's been a brand in the making since he was 5 years old. I don't know if there's any glimmer of real personality underneath that or if because it's been drilled into his head since such a young age for such a long time he's been forged into this marketable robot who actually thinks the way he talks.

I just hope he grows out of that haircut ... I feel like I may grow to be able to endure him if just does something with his Jersey shore meets Venice beach hair.

Who knows, maybe that is his personality? Manufactured of course. I can't say I've ever seen someone with such a bland personality. I don't have anything against him because he seems like a nice guy, but still.

@dtrain24  Agreed.  While I do think he is genuinely nice, Sage definitely seems to have a rather bland, milquetoast personality.  I think that is due to him having the spotlight on him at age 19, and not wanting to say the wrong thing though.

I was thinking the same thing, Hornet. He's only 19, maybe he's scared of pissing off Dana. His responses still sound like he's reading them off an index card Dana handed him, but he could just be nervous. That said, given how spoonfed his lines feel, it'll be weird to hear him talk the day he snaps out of it...if he does.

@dtrain24  I think it is a possible mixture of both.  And yeah, the day that Sage starts going off the cuff, I will be really interested to see how that plays out.

I feel like it'll happen eventually.

Funny thought: could you imagine if Sage's path ever crossed with Conor's? Not a McGregor fan as I'm sure you know by now, but just picture the trash talking he'd do to Sage.

I was wondering if last night was some kind of record for finishes beyond the 1st rd. The 2 events I could remember being full of finishes were UFC on Fuel 10: only 2 decisions but only 2 finishes went out of the 1st and last year's Fight Night 55 which had 0 decisions and even that one only had 6 of them go out of the 1st. Last night had 4 2nd, 2 3rd, and the ME.

Does anyone know it that is indeed a record?

When your last name is North**** there is no such thing is going off the cuff....

Unfortunately, I bought into the PVZ hype pretty hard, her tenacity is near unrivaled, but she's got a long ways to go. It was rough watching such a beauty get smashed last night.

Man The main event was hard to watch at times !! I just wanted it to be over. Paige will have to take it easy for few days after losing all that blood ..

I enjoyed the fight a lot, I´ve always liked Van Zant but I never doubted Namajunas would finish her, at moments I tought either the doctor or her corner were gonna stop the fight between rounds. props to Van Zant for her heart, but man she´s a loong way to being on top of the division.

Namajunas still needs to grow, she couldn´t finish the armbar booth times she failed to control the wirst at first, but she is relentless and  at the smell of blood theres no stopping her. I love to watch her fight, she is one of my favorite fighters. I would like her to fight a couple more times before they match her against Joanna perhaps at the end of 2016
