500-600k, according to early estimates from Dave Meltzer. 

I'm pretty shocked by this number, to be honest. 

After losing the original main event, I ball parked this one in the 250-350 range. 

Ronda is certainly a crossover star. Half a million buys with nothing supporting her from above or below on the card.

I'm not surprised at all, it's basically the same numbers that Rousey did against Carmouche and the Davis fight that was under Weidman/Machida (and don't get it twisted 'cause Weidman/Machida didn't get 500k buys 'cause of Weidman's 'starpower').

it wasn't a great card but it was better than 80% of the cards the UFC has been putting since last year, so it was to be expected to have better numbers than those

looks like PPVs are going back to there original form. It's been nothing but good when it comes to ratings this year.

Yeah, and that's only because the UFC realized that they can't expect to make money when they force their consumers to spend 50$ on a main event between two people that weigh 100 pounds soaking wet, who people don't give two ****s about and have already fought before.

There is one reason this card is trending at 600,000 buys and that is Ronda. Youn can't deny she is a draw the Carmouche fight did 450,000 This Ronda's highest main event slot. In the end that is what matters most when it comes to PPV buys who is in that main event. UFC has almost hit 2 million buys in the first 3 events of the year. 2015 we be a return to Form for the UFC after the big name injury plague on 2014.

I'm pretty surprised it did that high with such a lacking undercard. Didn't UFC 181 only do like 400K with two title fights? With this and the recent TV ratings it seems like MMA viewership has randomly started trending upward again.

Maybe its because of all the people snowed in here in the northeast. Theres nothing else to do except stay inside and watch MMA.

Wow that is more than I thought it would do. Ronda is ONE OF the biggest draws in the sport right now and certainly the biggest draw under 155 pounds. That would push her "headliner" average to around 400k buys I think. Not bad considering Holm vs Pennington was co-main (worst co-main in a long time) and Kos vs Ellenberger were the only other big names on the card and both were on 3 fight losing streaks. 

I vote we change the month to Rondbruary. She has headlined cards in Rondbruary to 350,000; 450,000 and now 500-600,000 views. That averages out to be the best in that month ever*.



*Minimum 3 headlined fights, I also just made this stat up but it could be true.

I WAS upset that I paid to watch Ruan Potts fight- oh wait...
It was not bad and had good fights. People like Ronda and thats obviously the main pull there.
