Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall should have been the main event for this card... oh well.

Seeing Jon and Tom face off just makes me more certain that Tom would flatten jones, jones really looking old now especially since the pectoral injury

Jones clearly does not want to fight Aspinall and will be willing to wait as long as necessary to face Miocic. Respect for Stipe: but he hasn't fought in 3 years, his prime has already passed and the most worrying thing is that the last time we saw him on camera he literally had the mobility of a senior citizen. But I think the main mistake was Aspinall being too nice and avoiding fighting Miocic when it was offered to him: Taking Miocic out of the equation by defending the interim title was the quick way to end the Jones-Miocic matchup.

Nah, Olives is not like that anymore. I'm sure Arman is gonna bring it to him, but I trust Charles to find the chin in the 2nd round.

That being said, may the best man win.

I’m worried Arman just wrestle **** Charles and Charles just don’t find the finish, Charles can be wrestled, even tho Islam is the only one to expose it in relevant history, but the truth is, most of the people in Charles legendary run play floor is lava because of his jiu-jitsu, and the only two not name Islam Machechev to actually go for the wresling gameplan are way more finishable then Arman being Kevin Lee and Beneil Darush

Hope I’m wrong, Charles is my favourite fighter. I’m just sus if Arman is the guy to get a good wresling game plan and not get finished

Everyone forgets that Arman dominated a BJJ world champion on the ground when he was only 23. The odds of Charles pulling off a sub are basically zero.

Your not wrong, To win off bottom, you either have to have a massive skill difference over the guy on top, or just get real lucky, Bottom grappling is real low percentage stuff, Arman is a good enough grappler, that if he on top of you, you going to get smashed, don’t care if it Charles,

I think Charles has to have the gameplan of either being on top or floor is lava, and when he’s eventually on the lava, he’s better get back up, He 100% has the skills to do so, he just has to execute it which is hard

if jiri doesnt get the finish, i dont think he has the style to like… win multiple rounds. hes only won like 4 or 5 rounds in his entire career. jiri can definitely get a ko, but he can also lose.

Kattar vs. Sterling
Aljamain Sterling, DEC
aljo will play it very smart and then call out volk or ilia or something

i mean i dont think kayla makes weight, or passes a steroid test, but she will win if this fight happens

Yusuff vs. Lopes
Sodiq Yusuff, DEC
dont forget who sodiq is. cardio issues will hurt him but a 3round fight i think sodiq takes it

Turner vs. Moicano
Jalin Turner, TKO, R2
moicano CAN sub jalin IF he takes him down. he probably wont take him down. he probably wont win a striking battle either

If I remember correctly, Arman dominated Davi Ramos with takedowns and control in the first two rounds. In comparison to, for example, Islam Makhaev who avoided going to the ground against Ramos and only did so in the last round after getting a knockdown. In my opinion, Oliveira's only chance to find a submission is by opening the way with his striking, as
@DamienHandel420
says: bottom game (unlike BJJ competition) is bad business in MMA, especially if you fight against wrestlers who have good defense in scrambles.

Tsarukyan shows brutal ground and pound against Alvarez and in the last round against Joaquim Silva: I have no doubt that if Oliveira does not show urgency in getting up if he is knocked down and if Tsarukyan manages to stay in Top Control for the majority of the fight he has high chances of getting a TKO in round 2 or 3.

100% correct olives should not be eager to go to his back with armans top pressure and gnp. however nobody should ever be eager to go to the ground with charles, but if arman takes the risk he can see massive rewards.

According to an interview with Kevin Lee, Oliveira tore his 2 ACLs in the first round when they faced each other and since then he has undergone surgery practically 4 times based on that. Charles is probably the biggest submission threat in MMA history taking into account his record of submission wins in UFC history and the variety of chokes with which he has achieved his victories.
Tsarukyan has brutal ground and pound, ability to take downs, scrambles and takes risks on the ground. Both are very capable in striking and personally I think it is the duel that can perfectly represent the battle between BJJ vs. Combat Sambo: since both are really well-rounded fighters.

I'm rooting for Tsarukyan since his UFC debut since not everyone would take the fight against Islam to debut and nor would he perform as well as Arman in his debut. But I also accept that I have supported Charles in many of his fights and his victories against Chandler and Gaethje were one of the most Feel Good Moments in MMA history considering that he fell to a lot of people who kept calling him a quitter (especially before of the fight against Gaethje).
