Can’t believe my eyes ppl are debating who’s gonna win between Burns vs Masvidal and why Burns is just -500? 
Burns went toe to toe with Chimaev who walks around 205+ pounds. I thought Burns could’ve won that fight had he not given last 2 minutes of the 3rd round which swayed judges decision. 

Masvidal legit has been inactive, lost to Colby 50-44, 50-45 to Usman, been brutally KO’d, last time Street Judos won a round was against washed up Nate f4cking Diaz and it was doctors stoppage. Masvidal hasn’t won a round since 2019 4 mf years! 

Masvidal vs Burns WILL go the distance and Burns takes the decision. There’s no other outcomes in this fight. No KO from Masvidal, no sub from Burns. Burns will take him down and ragdoll him for 3 rounds just like he did against Wonderboy. 

 The only dude that can lose to Masvidal in top 15 is Vicente “let them hands fly” Luque everybody else beats Masvidal.

You realize a lot of street fights start from someone sucker punching someone else right? And Masvidal has a street fighter mentality so he’s going to do what’s instinctual to him when he sees someone he hates. To quote him exactly, “It’s on site”.

Most likely true event Colby won fight "bout".
He  and Jorge met Jorge won streetfight.
Calling him a ***** is dumb but he is jest another bigmouth whiteboy.
He aint no gangster and its not to aspire for.
Being street is a birthright, no im not but ive known plenty of then.

I'll be travelling to visit family for easter so I won't catch this one live. I've got 3 bets; Ceerod, Hughes and Font.
I didn't have time to cap all the fights closely so I might have missed some other spots.

I don't feel bad that a guy has been assaulted after making things like comments about the Brazilian public, offensive comments about the death of the Blackzillians founder, offensive comments about the accident of Matt Hughes and talking about the personal issues of ex- teammates or colleagues by profession. 
Covington can say that he uses "character" but his words are real actions towards real people, maybe he takes it as fiction, but other people take it as personal attacks and the truth is that with the history since the post fight interview in the Maia bout to this day a sucker punch and a boomerang have been light consequences for everything he has said and against everyone he has said. 

Regarding Masvidal: in a street fight everything is allowed, but that sucker punch was not a street fight, it was an attack that led to his being arrested for breaking the law. At the end of the day, the glorification of the word gangster makes no sense and that brought a lot of strength due to the Diaz brothers and all the rivalry with McGregor and similar events.

Although many people have as an image of Gangster what was seen in the movie The Godfather and the fact that it is true that at the beginning of the 20th century the Mob had codes not to directly enter the children or women of their enemies or even that pickpockets used to steal by surprise and without using firearms or knifes. 
The only rules or morals that gangsters or criminals follow is that you cannot expect correct moral actions from those who break the law: When Al Capone massacred his enemies, it was not an attack that he previously announced so that his enemies would be prepared, drug traffickers do those who feel like it when they want something and on many occasions if one of those thugs wants something that is owned by someone, that person can give it to them the good way or the drug dealer will get it the hard way. I understand that in MMA the term is attributed to the toughness of a fighter and that many fighters have come from complicated street life or even gone through the prison system, but Narcoculture or the glorification of crime is one of the dumbest thing a human can do.

Izzy gonna show up looking like kyshenko on that super soldier serum. but in truth there's no way eugene lets him fight the same way, he'll have to be more agressive and take it to alex which he can do. I guess he's just scared of getting koed but fighting defensivley didnt do him any favours in that regard.

1.  Colby talking about Jorges kids was ******* whack.

2.  Masvidal sucker punching Colby in public and then complaining for an entire year about how he caused all of his own problems is also...whack.

It's very possible for both of these guys to not be super likable. You don't have to pick a side gents. 

The more I think about it, the more I am confident that Yanez is going to beat Font. I think everyone that Font has beat in the last 2 years Yanez would probably beat too. Yanez last loss was a split to an undefeated Miles Johns in the LFA which isn't a bad loss. He's only loss 2 other fights besides that and 1 of them was also a split decision. The other one was like his 2nd or 3rd professional fight against a solid fighter in Levi Mowles. Yanez's boxing is clean and he does a good job wrapping his punches around the guard which is Font's staple. If Font's high guard and jabs are not successful, then Yanez should be able to starch him bc Font's chin has been suspect. Yanez doesn't have the best kicking game, but when he puts his boxing together, he does a good job setting up his kicks. I don't think Font has as good of a kicking game

@danromanick did you mean the last three years? Font only win in the last two is Cody garbrandt. 

Oh yea, I meant Moraes and Garbrandt. I forgot that it is half way through 2023 now. That is scary

I don't really find this fight that interesting, but I do really like Shayilan. I think he's super underrated and has the potential to be a pioneer for Chinese MMA. He's only 28 and his chin is really good. As long as he doesn't lose that chin, he should be able to sneak into the top 15 at some point in his career. Steve Garcia also ain't very good and only beats dudes that have no striking.
