EARLY PRELIMS
Predictions: 9 of 14 Winners, 5 Perfect, 670 Points | Tied for 2457th
Gary, KO/TKO
Gary styled on Gabe Green. I say with full confidence I think Gabe Green would flatten song. We're talking about a guy who in his last fight was KO'd in the 1st round by a .500 decision fighter, and I mean no disrespect to Max Griffin when I word it like that. Those are just facts. This is a huge mismatch. Murder incoming.
Martinez vs. Saaiman
Martinez, DEC
Saaiman is extremely skilled but he's still inexperienced. His defensive striking and wrestling both have huge room for improvment. He also hit Koslow with an illegal knee in his last fight and was really pushed by Josh Wang Kim before that. Mana has been in 3 dog fights so far in the UFC and was able to pull off two of them. While he got rag dolled by Lawrence in his one loss, I liked that he got back up pretty much every time he was taken down. I also liked his debut where he fought with a lot of heart and got win despite being very emotional and losing his long time head coach just a week or two prior.
Saaiman's combined record ofall opponents:27-19
Martinez combined record ofUFC opponents:29-15
I think Saaiman will have his moments because his offensive striking and wrestling is so good but I think Mana will take at least 2 of 3 rounds. I think Saaiman has a higher ceiling but Mana is just a step ahead in his development so far. If these two had to fight again 2-3 years from now there's a solid chance I'd be switching my pick.
Penne vs. Ricci
Ricci, DEC
Penne is 40 years old and is two split decisions away from being 1-6 in the UFC. It's low level WMMA so you never know. Penne will have a good bit of size and that was enough to convince judges she beat Loopy (I think she lost but at least agree with it being called a split).
Basharat vs. Blackshear
Basharat, DEC
This fight isn't quite as lopsided as many are making it out to be. Blackshear is actually an intriguing dog at +330. He's got very solid skills and has fought decent competition thus far in his career. However, I think damage is probably what loses him this fight. Basharat is the cleaner striker and will tag him with counters all fight as Blackshear comes in to enter either for his own striking or grappling attempts.
Radzhabov vs. Ribovics
Ribovics, KO/TKO
When I first heard of this fight I thought Radzhabov is probably too big a step up for Ribovics, but I'm honestly not so sure after re-watching Radzhabovs fight with Raush Manfio. While Radzhabov is extremely durable, he's also very, very hittable. Ribovics isn't just a first round fighter and 3 of his last 4 wins are against decent competition. I just don't think it's a great stylistic matchup for Radzhabov, who likes to really pressure, push forward and swarm you with volume. It's like walking directly into a hurricane. I mean Manfio isn't a finisher but he easily could have put away Radzhabov, if not in the late 3rd then definitely either of the championship rounds of their fight. He had Radzhabov completely compromised with leg kicks by the middle of the 2nd round and just fought smart the last 2 rounds to secure the belt and million$ tournament prize. Ribovics striking is sick but he's got skills everywhere. Coin flip fight because Radzhabovs skills, durablity and experience are hard to pick against here. The first round should definitely be close but I just cant bet against Ribovics 100% finishing rate. This is a way tougher fight than Kamuela Kirk but I think Ribovics puts Radzhabov away in the late 2nd or 3rd round.

I don't see Brunson finishing DDP so I'd just cut that one and move that money either into your other 3 parlays or just throw it straight up on a decent sized prop, preferably one for a dog you like.
