The Same Rob Font put Marlon Moraes to sleep and hurt Aldo many times in the first round (before Aldo got the first knockdown at the end of the first round). In my opinion Rob Font is far from being a pillow fist striker.

Rob Font knocked out Moraes for the 2nd time in 8 weeks. Moraes being medically cleared for that fight that quickly after what Sandhagen did to him was a crime.
Rob Font is a great fighter but he has absolutely no power. Hes landed 596(!!!) strikes in his last 3 fights. That isn't a typo. He is 1-2 in those fights with no finishes.
My niece hits harder than Rob Font. I will die on this hill.

my man isn't broke, and was supposed to work with his beauty for Rauph Lauren, so, going to bare knuckle isn't the smartest move. *** is that

I have to agree with Foppa. Font does not have a lot of punching power. What people seem to forget is that you don't need legit KO power to knock someone out. If you have good timing and catch someone on the chin without them expecting it, you can rock someone badly or even KO someone clean with a well placed strike. A good example of that is what Oliveira did to Chandler in their fight. That was just a perfectly timed strike to the chin to drop him. And it was not even with a lot of power. It's not that Chandler doesn't have a chin either. Look what Poirier and Geathje did to him without Chandler going out.
That being said, the reason why Cody has been KO'd is not just because he has a glass chin. It's also because he doesn't have the best striking defence. Which was on full display against Kai Kara-France in his last fight. Jones won't have that offensive striking as a Kara-France, nor does he has the striking output but he does have the KO power and the accurate counters.
Both Cody as Trevin have ways to win and they are both on a losing streak. I don't think it happens, but I honestly hope Cody can win otherwise it's probably his last fight in the UFC.

Font wins his first 3 UFC Fight by KO. About Moraes and the 8 weeks I think it is ambiguous: Despite the bout was rule by spinning wheel KO, several people and Moraes himself mentioned that it was an early stoppage because after the knockdown Marlon made a backflip and etcetera. Font managed to hurt Aldo early in the fight and against Chito managed to overwhelm him with both one-two jab combo against the cage practically stepping him for a big shot that he never threw. Font has KO Power but I think so much focusing on jabbing or one-two combos prevents him from finishing more fights than he could if he were to throw uppercuts after one-twos or feinting a jab to throw a power left hook or overhand (But I think a breakdown on that would make more sense than placing it in the Font vs. Yanez fight). If Cody had the broken crystal jaw reputation that many give him, Font would have knocked him out in the third or fourth round when Cody's cardio was nil in that fight (post-covid return), but the man absorb was hit like 100 times practically empty and still didn't get knocked down.
I think many forget that Timur was about to KO Trevin for about the entire first round and that the KO came when Jones had the opportunity after Timur had nothing left in the tank (Knocking tired opponents is more easier, either by the spaces they leave or because thier body does not react in the same way). Garbrandt need to pressure like Timur in the first (but without burn all his energy) or like Raoni Barcelos in the entire fight against Trevin, not only throwing calf kicks for half a round like he did against KKF.

I agree with you on the defensive issue against KKF.
And about Chandler I think that despite being flash knocked down by Gaethje, if in the third round Chandler didn't butch the slam or fight with good IQ he would take that fight 29-28 on at least the scorecard of 2 judges. Against Poirier despite finishing defenseless by Dustin late strom in the final seconds of the first round (Poirier with 10 second more wins by KO), if Chandler had not exhausted himself he would have won by use wrestling in the 3 round in the scorecards

Wow, probably the fact that male modeling is not so well paid influences, but I see it as unnecessary to fight in BKFC. At this point doing the protagonist of the movie American Gigolo would be more convenient for Rockhold than continuing taking punches on the brain.

I'm being offered Gane to win by KO or Decision +175. That's an interesting line, don't see him subbing Jones.

Same. Just taped them tonight. Leaning Araujo sligthly 55/45. Ribas is 29 vs 36 which shouldn't be totally ignored and Araujo has a worse gastank though she's become better at managing it with experience. On the other side Araujo is sligthly longer and taller and the stronger of the two and the better striker. She throws long straight shots and mixes up well with body shots. She also uses kicks more than Ribas. Ribas flails her arms around a lot and loops her punches more. Ribas has not beaten a striker yet in her career and might be a bit chinny. Lost to Viana before joining the UFC then to Rodriguez and Chookagian. Both Viana and Rodriguez knocked her out despite being decision machines normally. Both women have good takedowns and excellent TDD. However I think Araujo being more explosive has a better chance of scrambling from bottom. Ribas we just haven't seen from the bottom position so that's an unknown.
I'm thinking a 29/28 decision either way.

Prochazkacel Both of them are BJJ black belts. Araujo also got a black belt in Luta Livre en Ribas got a black belt in Judo. However, Ribas doesn't have the kind of strength that Araujo has and Araujo also got the better striking of the two. They both have amazing takedown defence. Vivi with 90% TDD and Ribas with 88%. However, Vivi has fought against better opposition. Ribas is going to have a bad night if she's not able to take Araujo down. Ribas has terrible striking defence and is honestly not a very good striker overall.
I personally think Ribas should go back to the strawweight division where she was doing well until she fought Marina Rodriguez.

Gane | Decision: I just can't see jones coming back in great form he hasn't looked very good in his last fights and all of his highlights are from like 10 years ago he's also 35 and doesn't really have much power. Gane wasn't preparing wrestling for the Francis fight and still kept out of danger I see gane schooling jones on the feet and outmuscling all of Jones's takedowns for 4 rounds and having a close 3rd round 49-46
Shevchenko | Decision: I just can't see Grasso doing much to Shevchenko cant grapple with her and can't really strike with her to see a clear 50-45 decision from a newly motivate Valentina ready to take on the new dangers of her division.
Rakhmonov | Decision: Geoff Neal has some real crips striking and is pretty hard to take down when he's healthy but he isn't very strong in the clinch I think Shavkat holds him there and lands tapping shots but Neal might knock him down before getting taken down after scrabbling to finish 29-28.
Gamrot | Submission | Round 3: Jalin Turner hasn't fought a good grappler in his recent run and I think the reason Gamrot took this fight is that he realized this Turner was preparing to fight against a striker in dan hooker after 2 rounds of high action Gamrot catches his neck off a scramble and chokes him out.
Nickal | Submission | Round 1: let's be honest Jamie Pickett is a sacrifice to this Ginger monster.
Jones | KO/TKO | Round 2: Cody has no chin and honestly just throws hooks over and over before either catching or getting caught by someone, he's very overrated I guess we'll see him in bkfc in 8 months
Du Plessis | Submission | Round 2: Brunson is 39 hasn't fought in a year and is coming off both an injury(why he pulled out of the Hermansson fight) and a really bad ko loss to Cannonier, I see Brunson trying a bad takedown after getting rocked on the feet falling right into a guillotine.

I can post some analysis for the card tomorrow if anyone is interested? Or if anyone would like analysis for a specific fight on the card let me know?
So far I'm 8 right - 1 wrong (Muniz) - 1 cancelled (Cowen)
Lots of locks on this card anyway but I'm really torn on Jones vs Gane. On one hand it's very hard to pick against Jones but Gane is no joke plus Jones has struggled against the last couple light heavyweights he fought.
