Maybe Muniz's submission game is not as good as advertised. I wasn't impressed at all. Sure Hall stayed safe but anyone better on the ground would have finished Muniz

We could easily see a similar fight in this fight with Tavares and Du Plessis. Especially if they decide to grapple or clinch all three rounds. Neither of these guys have great striking. Just KO power for Du Plessis.

Hall is consistently one of the most inconsistent fighters in the UFC. But the point was that just Hall would be Ragdolled by Muniz, but his submission defense was going to save him from being defeated by submission.
