People look at the past of Strickland and his American Psycho persona and think that the guy will do really dumb things, but against Hall and Hermansson he has shown that he fights in the smartest and safest way to beat ranked fighters. If Strickland trades against Pereira he will be knocked out like he was against Elizeu Zaleski. Even in an interview with The Schmo, Strickland literally said: "I'm the best striker in the division, until I face someone who hits very hard, at which point I switch to wrestler." Obviously there will be striking, but at any moment Sean will seek to bring close the distance, and take Pereira to the ground.
