Tom Aspinall, DEC
Man, I'm sure everyone is going to lock in Aspinall, but this fight is going to be close.

So you think Paddy is going to be a Sean O'Malley type guy?

I can see that...

Yeah. He’s got talent but I’m not sure he’s going to be a top guy. I could be wrong in the future but 155 seems too deep. He’s a good addition to the roster tho, always brings the fight

any one else speculating on what the move up from 145 to 155 for toupuria will do ?, hes never fought there before, jai is pretty big for 155, 8 inch reach advantage 6 inch height advantage in this one.

I’ve noticed jai has a lack in the grappling department; everyone he’s fought has tried and succeeded in taking him down. Ilia is too skilled on the ground plus he fights to his opponents weaknesses. Herbert fought a guy (I can’t remember his name off the top of my head) who was shorter than ilia is and he knocked jai down and was grappling him with ease in the first round

^ if you watch Jais tape he does not do well against grapplers at all. Ilia being the small guy is only gonna play into his wrestling game

does the reach and height advantage negate any of the wrestling. thats what im at odds with, technically speaking he should be able to keep him out of his range easier but a good wrestler like topuria can take that out of the equation

No way Ilia Topuria can be the banker here. He's forced to move up in weight by Dana White. Maybe for Tapology yes. But my money is not in El Matador.

Abdurakhimov vs. Pavlovich
Sergei Pavlovich, TKO, R1
im not putting money on this ik hes 40 but pavlovich not fought anyone good i think he gets it done but wont put money on heavyweights lol this isnt a lock for me

Krylov vs. Craig
Paul Craig, SUB, R2
Another great fight, kryolvs fight iq is questional here also jiu jitsu defence and hes just too inactive on the ground and paul craig great grappler ill take the underdog here

Shore vs. Valiev
Jack Shore, DEC
Very good fight i think valiev drawn vs barcelos but good win i guess. This is the hardest fight jacks had now with fighters pulling out hard test for him. At a underdog i dont have a hesitation in betting him got great grappling and shown great striking last fight, jack will either win a decision or a sub

Mokaev vs. Durden
Muhammad Mokaev, DEC
now this is a debut im lookin forward too amazing amatuer career as we all know now hes in the ufc at only 21. Cody durden is decent got good wrestling i just think Mokaevs wrestling is better and decent on the feet my only worry is he leaves his chin in the air i highly doubt durden kos him. Mokaev 30-27

Grundy vs. Amirkhani
Mike Grundy, DEC
This is very close both on a losin streak (i think makwan beat kamuela kirk) both are so preditable, grundy can grind out a 29-28. Makwan gets very tired and will just recklessly shoot and tire himself out. I think grundy will end up outgrappling makwan amirkani in the later rounds

Reed vs. McKenna
Cory McKenna, DEC
Reed really shouldnt of fought sijara eubanks but shes better than what she shown there i think cory mckenna gets this done not as confident as the percentage says tho especially the performance from mckenna vs hansen where i think she lost didnt impress me either. She will win with the clinch n trip takedowns and win a 29-28 or 30-27 her grappling is just better than reeds

Wood vs. Morales
Nathaniel Wood, DEC
Morales has been looking great recently vs smolka and drako rodriguez however nat wood is very good i hope he bounces back i think he beat casey kenny was close tho and kenny is better than vince morales

Remember Ilia loves ripping shots to the body, there vicious. If he can get on the inside then I think this is gonna work well against a tall fighter like Jai

Paddy at -500, Vargus at +320. Is the line wrong???

Predictions: 8 of 12 Winners, 4 Perfect, 575 Points   |   Tied for 1580th

Is it worth it to chuck a 5-ver on Vargus at +320, I don't know anything on Vargus but I think it nuts that Paddy is -500 against anyone in the UFC, Paddy only UFC fight is a comeback win over Luigi Vendrimini after almost getting slept, Paddy maybe should be favourte, I'm more against it being 80-20,

Can someone tell me how bad Vargus is, Because Vargus being the worst lightweight on the roster( Or close to the worst) is the only reason Paddy should be that big of a favourite, But Vargus clearly beat Zu Wong and he was beating Weaver before the illegal knee stoppage, So I don't think he that bad

I'm 100% fading Paddy against his next opponent,

Predictions: 8 of 12 Winners, 2 Perfect, 520 Points   |   Tied for 2308th

Volkov vs. Aspinall
Alexander Volkov, DEC
I'm picking the Russian against the Brit in a fight in London. I ******* hate myself. I just can't shake the thought that Alexander Volkov has been the more active recently against higher level opponants and that combined with the fact that he usually weighs in heavier just makes me feel that Tom Aspinall is gonna have a hard time.

Pimblett vs. Vargas
Paddy Pimblett, SUB, R2
Paddy Pimblett wins this one but I'm really not on board the hype train just yet. Almost every fight I've seen him in, he's had parts where he's been struggling. In his last fight for instance, I had Luigi Vendramini winning the round until the KO and sooner or later he won't keep getting away with it unless he makes major improvements. This isn't the fight to expose him but he could get caught out soon if the UFC push him too fast.
