Ansaroff vs. Dern
Nina Ansaroff, DEC
Yeah before the layoff I thought Ansaroff was amongst the better women in her division. Since 2016 she's gotten so much better. This is a fight that I think would be wise to ignore their records 10-6 vs 10-1. Dern is gonna be a much better grappler but I don't see the fight going to the mat and Ansaroff without doubt knows to keep the fight standing. She's certainly good enough to do this. 30-27 Ansaroff!!

Kasanganay vs. Palatnikov
Impa Kasanganay, DEC
Kasanganay was on the receiving end of a Knockout that'll be remembered for the ages similar to the Anthony Pettis Showtime kick landed to Benson Henderson, Dan Hendo's H-Bomb landed on Bisping and the Wheelkick Barboza landed on Terry Etim. With that said Impa probably wouldn't even be matched up with Palatnikov if that hadn't happened. Without that setback he would easily be the largest favorite on this card and probably would've been picked over 90% by the community here on Tapology. I see no reason for him losing this bout and wouldn't give Palatnikov more than a punchers chance. Kasanganay 30-27 Unanimous Decision is my prediction.

Allen vs. Yusuff
Sodiq Yusuff, DEC
This fight could easily be the most competitive fight of the card. They match up pretty evenly everywhere from their records to height and reach. Allen has the better striking defense but Yusuff is the far busier striker landing an Avg of over 6 significant strikes per min. That's nearly double of what Allen lands. That was my deciding factor in this razor close match up.

Watching Holland annoy Angry Ugly Marvin to death is going to be absolutely hilarious. I’d pay for this card if Holland could somehow be micd up.

Allen is too hittable, Yusuff will take his head off. Just my gut feeling. And I hope you're right Glovetown, because that sounds very entertaining

@Fisty, agree. Lentz was tagging him before Allen gouged his eye out. What I'm not so sure about is the grappling, and Allen's grittiness.

The guy has had fights where he's losing before pulling a choke out of his ass to seal the deal (Omer and Burnell) and Yusuff's only loss is kind of grappling-centric, Gomez pulled an arm-drag off and Sodiq broke the fall with his head and proceeded to get finished. 1 in 7.5 trillion chance of that happening again, but we just saw Alonzo Menifield hit a von-flue on the supposed stronger grappler a week ago.

I don’t think Allen should honesty not be in the top 15 , he the most overanked fighter in the UFC.everyone below him in Sodiq Yuseff Bryce Mitchell, Edson Barbosa  And Movser Evolev would beat him. Allen got in the top 15 by beating Gilbert Millendez who 100 years old

Agreed, duck. The fact that he’s ranked above evloev tells you everything you need to know about how meaningless their rankings system is.

Being completely fair, Evloev's best win is also Lentz and he had a competitive fight with him as well. Big thing for him has been his consistency and beating Makwhan when it kind of meant something.

Ranking prospects that haven't fought each other can be awkward, don't think that's what shows that rankings are ****. Stuff like Burgos breaking into the top 10 with a close win over a reeling Cub Swanson, or pretty much any vet that's doing somewhat poorly but still retains their rank, is worse imo.

LW is the one with the clearest example of this, think of how long Al kept his rank. ****, is he still ranked? Haven't checked.

Allen vs. Yusuff
Sodiq Yusuff, TKO, R2
My last pick and this one was hard to get a read on. I really don't have much of a point to argue either way, I think sudiq hits hard and I haven't really seen allen's chin tested plus while his striking offense looks really technical and crisp his striking defense is lesser. So I'll call a KO but won't be surprised if it goes to decision, where I still give the edge to sodiq as he seems better at "winning rounds" as people say.
