Kasanganay vs. Palatnikov
Impa Kasanganay, DEC
First of all, impa is too wide a favorite at -300. A few questions going into this one. How will impa look on the scales at 170? How will sasha's hands look against someone who fights patient and won't completely gas in 4 minutes? Will buckley's kick be one of those chin issues starters? I think impa will look fine at 170 probs his normal class. It's been like 9 months I think I won't question his chin in this fight just yet. I think impa much stronger probably will have big control advantage and more accurate punches. There's a path for it to stay kickboxing and sasha wins by slightly outstriking. But I think the decision will go to impa. I would not bet on this fight

Good luck, Mackenzie. Should be a hell of a fight.

FWIW, Dern is my #1 on this list - I'm surprised she isn't ranked higher by the consensus. I assure you she doesn't actually look like Chuck Norris.

Jung vs. Knight
William Knight, DEC
Super hard fight to call. I think knight has better wrestling and is more active with strikes when in clich and ground. I think jung lost to Sam alvey, who I don't hate as much as everyone seems to, but his other two wins in ufc to people who most beat. Jung has a big reach but but I think the better hands are knight and stronger punches. I really expect this fight to go long. I like the over 1.5 at close to even money for sure and may take a sprinkle on gtd.

A fight not to bet. Jarhis on like 5 year layoff. Could look like new man as he isn't that old, or could look horrible. I'ma say yorgan KOs him but could go long. Can't believe yorgan is such a favorite he isn't that impressive to me but he should get it done.

Vettori vs. Holland
Marvin Vettori, SUB, R4
I would go with Vettori by UD if this were a 3 round fight but I'm picking a rare 4th round Submission here. I think these last 2 rounds are gonna be a bit too much for Holland and Vettori will get the very late Sub, possibly even a Tko. I'm not completely ruling Holland out but I don't think he can win a Decision here over Vettori, I think he would need a finish to win and Vettori is just not at all easy for anyone to finish. I would've also liked to see Vettori vs Till as I think that fight would've been a lot harder to pick but huge props to Holland for taking this fight because it'll undoubtedly be an entertaining and probably a close one on the cards going into the Championship rounds (4th and 5th). What's next for Vettori if he wins? Does he get a Title shot? He lost a SD to Izzy when they met the first time. Or does Whittaker get the Title shot with a win over Gastelum? That's a tough call. Or for matchmaking purposes they could do Whittaker vs Vettori if they both win. But that could be too long of a break for Izzy if the UFC happens to pair up Vettori and Whittaker providing that both win. Brunson is also knocking on the backdoor of a Title Shot.

Dumont vs. Blanchfield
Erin Blanchfield, DEC
I was wondering why Dumont was a -250 favorite and I figured it's gotta be the fact that Blanchfield will be fighting up a weight class. She'll be giving up some size and she's gonna make this a lot closer fight than a -250 money line would indicate in my opinion. I'm gonna go with Blanchfield to edge this one out. And win or loss she should probably go back to 125lbs where I think she could potentially be a Top 15 Flyweight in the World.

Arnold Allen   vs.   Sodiq Yusuff

Sodiq isn't an especially skilled fighter, really. It's physicality, not talent, that gets him the W'S. Actually that might not be fair. He can box, his pressure and pullbacks are very good. Allen is technically superior everywhere however and though the natural gifts Sodiq has aren't easily overcome, I think he's probably going to win here. Fili (who doesn't deserve as much of the hate he gets) was able to put hands on Yusuff quite a lot. Allen is in my estimations a decently heavier---handed Southie who cuts much more unorthodox angles and absolutely has better boxing defense. His low calf kick is nasty as ****, and I don't think people talk about it enough. He's a seriously credible wrestling threat and  can be devastating and heavy on top. I've seen Sodig get floored and wobbled by left hands too many times by much less powerful punchers (Benitez, Fili) than Allen to have confidence in him in this bout.

For Sodiq to win without a KO here he's going to have to consistently hit big moments, and it's not going to be easy to do. I don't think his pressure style is going to work well. If Allen can take him to the mat, Sodiq isn't getting back up. Most likely outcome is probably Allen by Dec or TKO.

Nina Ansaroff   vs.   Mackenzie Dern

The bookies are getting a lot better at writing lines for MMA, I'll say that. I'm picking Nina, not purely because she's the uglier girl, but because she actually has very solid TDD, and Dern's TD's kind of suck.. No takedown, no sub, which leaves a striking battle she will surely lose because her arsenal of punches is 25% rabbit-pawing and 75% whatever strike it is chimps use to break open coconuts. Suarez she is not. She's got a single leg, not a double, and the latter is ultimately what Suarez had to work hard for to get Nina down. I can see dern getting pieced up early/through mid of the first. shooting in frustration, and emptying the tank trying for a single she never gets while getting elbowed in the head. After that point she'll get pieced up more and drop a decision.

@fish One think I notice with Dern Is that all her wins are either close stand-up fight with Grappler with no hands I.e Janderoba, Yoder  or the other lass  kicking her ass then doing something really idiotic and getting submitted I.e Markos and Cifer. Nina should win this, If she prepared  after having a baby

Vettori vs. Holland
Kevin Holland, DEC
Holland looked **** in his last fight against Brunson. However he hurt him a couple of times and can show a potential of fighting ranked guys well. Vettori fought well against jack, but jack isn’t the best striker. With Holland’s awkwardness he can trick Vettori and I believe a factor is Holland’s trash talk. Marvin gets emotional really easy and by getting in his head Vettori will fight emotionally. Holland fights well with pressure heavy fighters e.g. Buckley, Stewart and fought well; nice elbows, knees, etc. Overall, if Holland uses good footwork against Vettori, I believe he catches the dub

Is Khizriev's height accurate? If so then Kyle has a massive advantage in length, could play a factor in their grappling as well. Feel like I might kick myself for not sticking with Daukaus, but I'll go with the majority this time around.

Have a feeling Holland is going to react completely different this time if he gets taken down after the embarrassment after the brunson loss

Perry vs. Rodriguez

would be a shame if Mike Perry got cut as I think he's funny asf plus his beef/friendship with till is quality, but the ufc is not helping his cause by putting him in there against guys who he can't beat

I get why d rod is the favorite but I wouldn't bet on him. Dog or pass from betting. I have a sneaky feeling we see the best version of perry here. I like the over or it going to decision both are mostly stand up and both have good chins

Dumont vs. Blanchfield
Norma Dumont, DEC
She won be dog money in her last fight. Although I am aware of blanchfield and she is good. I no longer have fight pass and I can't find her fights elsewhere so idk. But a weight class higher, with a girl who has had trouble even making 135, and short notice I'll take dumont for a 30-27 ground bullying.

I love how people believe holland can just decide to do better on the ground. He's been in those spots other times before brunson, brunson was the first one to be smart about it. Whole round on bottom on brenden allen, jacare had him down before he decided to be the cool uncle and have a chat with holland, derren stewart dominated any ground positions.......now take all those names, and replace it with marvin vettori. This is a massive step up for holland, OFF OF A DOMINATION LOSS TO BRUNSON who is levels below vettori.

I can't believe he is only -325. This might be a card where I parlay a bunch of 2 leggers with vettori.
