With Khabib, it was tricky to make money with him when he was on his rise because he always goes for the finish so you didn't know whether to bet him by decision or by submission but with Merab, you have takedown after takedown after takedown...

His striking is kinda telegraphed and hes mainly a wrestler...and he does not go for submissions. I've seen him have guys in bad spots but he just does not have submission IQ or BJJ credentials.
This Askar guy trains at a gym with 2 other Askars....I wonder if they are all brothers?
I'll take a dog shot on this guy as Stamman seems like a wrestle and out cardio you type of guy and that isnt always gonna get it done. Maybe this short notice notice fighter is hungry and has something to offer against someone who fights a simple predictable gameplan and isnt gonna overwhelm you..

Lets see this double askar first before assessing his potential. Sure he could be a tough russian wrestler but there are so many of them these days you'll neva really know until you see for yourself.
Staman is a solid fighter that is still learning on how to improve his skillz but he already got good UFC competition under his belt.
Does he get a finish? Most likely not. He isn't the kind a guy that franticly searches finishes as he is a bit of a secure fighter. But ya neva know.
