Ladd vs. Eubanks
Aspen Ladd, DEC
Weight issues has pushed Eubanks up to 135 and into this rematch from invicta when Ladd was only 21. In my opinion Ladd has grown since the first time these 2 met. Ladd won the first time and I think she wins here. Eubanks is the only one ever to go the distance with Ladd. I have a feeling Ladd will really want a finish this time which could lead to a little bit of recklessness and @ -300 that will make me a little nervous. I just don't see Eubanks having enough to win this fight. So the pick is Ladd by dec. with about a 35% chance of a Ladd win via ground and pound.

I'm surprised at how many are underestimating Eubanks. Ladd has a high ceiling and will most probably be a future world champion or at the least a title challenger. However at this stage I still see many holes in her game, on the feet her boxing is still sloppy and quite inaccurate, she does have great volume on the other hand. Eubanks by contrast isn't a volume striker although she is quite accurate and has a nice variety with her striking selection. In both of Ladd's UFC fights she was controlled in the clinch, obviously she made the adjustments and got the W. However Evinger botched an outside Thai trip and put herself in bottom position. If Eubanks can keep her pinned against the cage I see her stealing rounds. The only clear advantage I give Ladd is on the ground particularly in top position, however Eubanks has shown that she won't necessarily be held down and can transition and reverse well. I look at this as a very close 50/50, however I'm edging Eubanks by decision if she can utilize her boxing and not be in bottom position for too long.

Hubbard vs. Ramos
Davi Ramos, SUB, R2
Hubbard has some skills and comes from a pretty good MMA camp but this is a bad matchup for him to get as a first fight in the UFC. Ramos is no real mystery with what he wants to do. Hubbard won't go easy but eventually Ramos will take his back and get the choke. Hopefully Hubbard gets a more favorable style matchup in his next UFC fight. Pick is Ramos by 2nd round RNC

Underestimating Eubanks? She's horrendous, can't make weight and has lost to Ladd before.

Yes judging by peoples picks and general consensus I would say that. She struggled to make weight at 125, this fight is at 135. She lost to Ladd in a close fight, at least it was close from what I saw. I personally won't write her off altogether.

Well I think that's for a good reason. Ladd is a much more ferocious individual. Night & Day difference between mentalities. I just don't see Eubanks being able to hold Ladd still for 15 minutes, couldn't the first time. Eubanks has no confidence or momentum going in.

Ladd misses weight and doesn't even care, still plans on bashing a skull.

When Sijara misses, she cries, almost dies, threatens the UFC, pulls etc.

It can do, although most are going with Shoeface and Iv'e seen earlier in the thread your going with Heinisch, and I agree strongly with you on that. At least from what Iv'e seen Shoeface is the more common pick. Anyways, I see exactly where your coming from. For me the fight is dependent on Ladd holding down Eubanks personally. As Iv'e said she's struggled in the clinch consistently and on the feet particularly at range. She's likely improved but I think it will take a while for her to tie up those particular weak points.

I'll concede the difference in attitude between both fighters is night and day, and who knows may have a significant impact. Although I would think Sjara moving up and missing weight again would be unlikely. Appreciate your responses.

I was with Trizano, however I've been leaning towards Dawson recently. We've seen Trizano's TDD has been solid, however Dawson is physically better built and probably stronger than Gianetti and Pena. Pena does have wrestling credentials and a background. But Dawson's more accomplished. I feel he could well grind and push Trizano against the cage and win rounds that way.

The striking concerns me, but he did hang with Erosa to my memory. Although most of us give Erosa crap his technical striking is actually not bad. At present I'm leaning towards Dawson, however Trizano has proved me wrong twice in a row, so I can see why your torn in it as well.

Leaning Dawson for the same reasons. 1-2 picking Trizano fights and honestly I don't even like him nor do I like his gym, Tiger Schulmanns aka  Tickle Shoemans.

Can't seem to get a read, face-off should help but yea, leaning the cardio & well-roundedness in Dawson.

The fact Trizano's fights are split decisions due to a low work rate aids Dawson as well. Plus Trizano now gotta cut that extra 10 lbs at 145. As long as Dawson can control the clinch at least he will dictate the lace and win via decision.

of interest who you got between Cummings and Trevin Giles? Again I leaned the favourite but I'm starting to think Cummings if he can turn up will give Giles a vet lesson

Giles by Unani. I don't hate Cummings but I just don't think he's UFC level anymore. The layoff could really hurt Trevin but I actually think he knows what he's doing. Legit finisher and has fought pretty high-level guys his entire career.

Zak has been around the block for sure, but all of his wins are over guys who aren't in the UFC anymore, barring Yakovlev, who shouldn't be either honestly. And we've seen what real talent does vs Michel Tractor so I just think Cummings will get pieced up methodically and have no real answer other than trying to snag up a choke.

I see exactly what you're saying, in his recent fights he really hasn't been all there. Lay off have actually proven to be a good thing especially when guys are in there development stages. If he's improved his get up game or working off his back this should be a comfortable fight for him.

I was thinking about his losses, he just seems to coast to a decision and is content to lose at times. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this one. Maybe my initial instincts will hold on Giles.

I just can't get on board with Dawson after the Erosa fight. There were moments in that one where I thought for sure he was going to be finished, and his cardio looked woeful at points. Trizano's TDD is 86%. He's very strong in the clinch and his striking is solid, if low-volume. I see this as being one of those ones where Dawson pushes him against the cage, fails to hit the TD and gets Hellbowed before backing out and then getting lit up in the center.

I will need to rewatch that one. I do remember some hairy moments where Dawson was feeling the pace, thankfully for him he managed to control Erosa. Yeah mate, if Dawson shoots deep on a double with a poor entry he could be in trouble. Plus against Trizano with that TDD he will potentially sprawl or counter wrestle nicely. I feel that Trizano will struggle defending TDs more so in this fight than any other. Naturally stocky shorter or average height wrestlers are make better wrestlers. or at least they seem to. One thing I'm sure of of I'm not putting a cent on this fight.
