Man, I'm sick of RDA getting laid on by people. I used to joke that RDA would have to go back down to lightweight so that Khabib could lay on him.

Agreed Fish, but better yet HAVE BOTH FIGHTERS STEP ON A SCALE AS THEY ENTER THE CAGE so we actually know what they weigh not what they cheated to get down to by sucking water away from the lining of their mother-******* brain

Ufc should put an end to the weight cutting madness.

Right...getting laid on. I don’t like Lee at all but have you guys watched him at all do you just immediately ***** when you here he’s a wrestler. Take RDAs sack out of your faces for a second, go back and look. Lee finished his last 5 wins and has more finishes than decisions in his UFC career. RDA stylistically might get decisioned as he could likely be outwrestled if he still tagging Lee up standing and he’s too hard to submit but stop the sob songs. RDA has a higher decision % than Lee. That’s a fact. Try knowing what your talking about sometimes guys.
That said, **** Lee I hope RDA KOs him.

@free$ how do you suggest they monitor it? I’m not even saying you’re right or wrong. I just want to know what solutions or gameplans you want to take to achieve your end goal. If I could here a good system that would work out I’m certainly not against it.
I know in HS wrestling we had a doctor come to certify us at bottom line low weight. I also know for a fact coaches tried to find ways around that. I’m sure there’s more than I can prove also...I’m sure at pro sport level pay offs. I know myself and a few other guys would get called in by the coach about a month out of doctors certification to tell us how much he wanted us to lose before seeing the doc. It ****** met up too. By the time I was a senior I said **** him im going up and felt waaaay better. Then I got hurt anyway, haha.

Realistically grown-men shouldn't weigh under 200 pounds. 30 year old, 170 pounders do not occur naturally in nature. Regardless of obesity and all that nonsense, every single capable-male I know weighed 170 by the end of middle-school. I am from the midwest though so giant cornfeds are what i'm used to...but that's what I know. Men are big. 200 pounds is nothing.

lol you should pay a visit to Thailand. Pretty rare to find a native Thai who weighs 200lb. That would go for just about every Asian country.
I weigh around 190. I'd have to hit the mars bars pretty hard to push past 200, just that kind of metabolism.

@Swain tranquilo bro. I have no problem with Lee, but this is literally the third straight ground guy RDA has been given. Granted he's nowhere near as wrestling heavy as Usman or Covington, but still....I'd rather see RDA in a banger for a change. The fight might still play out that way, but I bet it doesn't now that everyone has seen the blueprint to beating RDA. Lee won't risk dropping this one by standing and trading.

hints why I said capable-male. Thailand isn't known for having strong, skilled men now are they? Neither is Asia.

lol come on man. Muay Thai? Karate? Judo? Not to mention various forms of chinese martial arts, which are completely lethal if you equip them with weapons. All skills-based disciplines created by Asians who needed something more than brute force, in which they lack.
Not everybody hits the genetic lottery and is born a HW.

Hey, @fish, bro, if were any more calm, cool and collect I’d be asleep. Just cause I spit facts and knowledge in an entertaining fashion doesn’t make me upset with others lack of....haha. Im just sharing realities in this fantasy forum.
RDA should have the BJJ advantage and striking advantage. He’s a guy who’s trying to be the best of the best. He needs to be able to beat one of these wrastling guys if he wants to be a top WW. Let’s face it, WW is a wrastling class. Honestly Lee is the least accomplished wrestler of the 3 really. With RDA’s grappling background he needs to be able to deal with this here.
Honestly I like RDA a lot but his ranking is quite generous, IMO. I don’t think he’s a top 5 WW personally. He’s had an amazing and long UFC career. Hats off, I just don’t personally.

Rousey was a judo fighter, she was champ. Half the champs have Muay thai based striking at least. Jones is basically a thai fighter who can wrestle as the situation demands.

Was & Was. Jones striking is that of a 4 year old. and I thought we were talking about size?
Machida got smoked at LHW, moved down to MW...because he Karate wasn't working at LHW anymore.
Rousey's Judo did real well against Holm & Nunes size and aggression..

Well yeah, Jones' hand striking is garbage...terrible boxing. But his kicks and elbows are top notch. I still think he's going to lose this year. Definitely not the same fighter he once was. However, I am pretty sure he deliberately didn't finish Smith because he was plus odds on winning by decision through some carriers. I guarantee he bet on himself to win by dec. This isn't illegal, and fighters can bet on themselves to win, but not to lose.

@swain mulefloyd has the right idea weighing fighters right before they enter the cagae would put an end to all the weight cutting shenanigans. Guys would come in at their proper weight due to not having time to rehydrate

As far as RDA is concerned its his own fault. The sport has passed him by and wrestlers have exposed him as a one sided fighter. Lee will do the exact same thing he did to barbosa.
