Holy mother of ******* ****.

Mirko Cro Cop and Wanderlei Silva have been announced for the tournament, both in separate fights.

Daron Cruickshank will face Andy ******' Souwer

Tokoro vs. Gracie, of course.

And Yamamoto is fighting Kizaemon Saiga, not Krazy Horse as rumored.

Color me ******* hyped.

Aside from Cro Cop/Myung, this 1st round is full of legitimately competitive fights and lots of great LHW/HW prospects.

They got Krazy Horse to fight in Japan again. That alone is enough.

This will be Krazy Horse's fifth fight this year and this is the first time I heard anyone give half a **** about him. The guy is a sub .500 journeyman and people are excited he's on a card because nostalgia... yay!!

Myung got DQed 15 seconds into a fight. That must he a record. Herring's DQ againsy Nakao does not count as it was before the bell.

@Bigj383

Don't care about his record. He's far more entertaining then alot of "professionals" in bigger orgs. He's also more entertaining when on bigger cards. He always has been.

Also, what's wrong with people enjoying nostalgic things? I watched Bennett knock out Maeda in Pride over a decade ago, so it's pretty cool to see him get a chance in Japan again many years later, especially with how his life has gone.

I hate all his new nicknames and Japan knows him as Krazy Horse

@Ghost Search for the 10th time, Wanderlei isn't on this card and is getting a bye and Fedor is not schedule to be in the tournament.

@mikeyg they are already promoting him as Krazy Horse on their website.

Has anyone said that RIZIN is anything like PRIDE?

The answer is no.

Anyone know if they'll be airing the event on Spike Sunday on tape delay like last year's Grand Prix?

Doubt it. The first two shows were only a thing for Spike because Bellator fighters were in some pretty big fights on the card, and a Bellator fighter, King Mo, was the favourite to win the entire tournament.

This time out, aside from Tokoro, who might not even be a Bellator fighter anymore, Bellator's not featured on the card. If they were airing it, they would have for sure advertised it by now.

Any type of viewing info hasn't been released yet. Same **** as last time. They promised North American streams for 'next event', so this event, months ago. And it's looking like that absolutely won't happen. if you wanna watch, better be ready to stay up late and hunt for streams!
