It's official! The weigh-ins are done and Cain is returning for the first time since 2013 to defend that strap against a surging Fabricio Werdum. This is the first opponent not named JDS or Bigfoot Silva that Cain has fought since 2010, and I can't wait.

The co-main features a spectacular lightweight showdown between the ex-Strikeforce champ and the ex-Bellator champ that is just as deserving of championship rounds as the main event.

Prelims kick off on UFC Fight Pass at 7pm ET before switching over to FX at 8pm. The main card, as always, hits PPV at 10pm.

Enjoy, mis amigos!

I think this main event will be interesting. Pretty much everyone has gassed tonight from this altitude. Surprised because Gil has pretty good conditioning. Werdum has been Mexico City for 3 months, Cain 3 weeks.. Just a theory watch it go out the window...

Melendez did more damage, but I had it 29-28 Alvarez. Would have liked five rounds. Didn't expect those two to gas.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Werdum turn it on late and win.

Cain is a heavyweight and he's still probably not going to gas like everyone else has.

For whatever reason, people like to ignore the fact that Werdum was getting beat up by Hunt and if he didn't land that knee we could very well be about to watch Cain vs Hunt.....or I simply had a few too many ginger ale's that night and don't remember the fight.Either way...Cain's gonna whoop that ass.I am a huge fan of both so..I don't really care, and i'd be happy if Werdum won cause he's not injured every 17 seconds but I think Cain's just been unlucky with injuries and he is the best in the world.Should be fun :D

10-9 Cain, but it was kinda close.  Fabricio did well, only Cain is probably not going to slow down.

Werdum is giving Cain all he can handle so far. There's a reason I thought the odds here were crazy.
