The fighters are weighed in and we're good to go for tomorrow night.
Two prelims kick off the action on UFC Fight Pass at 7pm ET, then the card turns over to FS1 for the remainder of the night from 8pm through to the main event.
Should be a good one.

Well, I would say that skill/technique wise, those two women are way behind the curve compared to most male UFC fighters. But that doesn't mean WMMA sucks. It's evolving quickly (getting more competitive) and that fight was exciting and awesome.

I think it's really fun to watch wmma progressing and like Greg said it's coming a long pretty well. Hell I see two kids or hobos fighting outside somewhere I stop and take a look. I like fighting on all levels lol

he has had 65 fights. too much wear and tear to fight a young up and comer. 3 fights 3 finishes. I like the attitude of the newer fighters. Finish them quickly.

p4pgoat I get what you're saying and agree. I think in this case there really was no technical advice to give, just keep doing what you're doing (which is what she did). It's likely, as Greg said, she was nervous as hell and needed to calm down a bit.
Was weird for him to ask "Do you have any questions" though lol. I thought Currans corner was much worse "It is 1-1 we need a good round". No it is 2-0 you need a finish. I see that mistake way too much.

Gregory WMMA's biggest problem at the moment is that out of the martial arts that are important in the octagon (such as boxing and wrestling) only judo is practiced by women at a level comparable to men's at the moment. Compared to Ronda's judo Cyborg's kickboxing and even McMann's olympic medal are worth next to nothing, unfortunately. I am VERY curious about what Holm will bring to the table, as she is the only female MMA fighter that is actually great at something besides Ronda.

Female MMA suck pretty easily. There's no one on Rousey's level and this fact makes it a snoozefest in 90% of cases. It's just my opinion, don't be mad.
