This would be a fun one, it's only rumored right now though.  Although Miller isn't at the top of the list of fighters the fans want to see McGregor fight, the build-up is going to be good, and we'll get to see how McGregor does against a UFC level grappler.

Connor will put hands on Cole pretty quickly.  I don't see this lasting long.

I.don't see Miller as a step up from Max Holloway or.even.Brimage personally. I knew they'd feed him a guy for his return but I'd like him to get a bigger fight.

I'm happy to see Conor get a nice little grudge tune-up match to ease into things after the ACL tear ... if it tears again he can easily beat Miller on a torn ACL like he did Holloway.

That way Miller will **** and Conor will get rid of the ring rust.

I really believe that ... I think Holloway beats Miller and has better TDD and Holloway was outclassed for two rounds on a torn ACL. I'm pretty sure Conor could keep clear from a Miller sub if needed.

Hopefully we won't have to find out because I like Conor better with all ACLs in tact ;)

Get the guy some higher ranked opponents, so he can be tested instead of this.

Yes, Miller has been on a streak now, but I don't see him outstriking Mcgregor. When that is said, I hope Miller takes it to the ground quickly and sub the ******.

Calling someone Miller fighting the ****** is just ironic given the fact the biggest ****** in the UFC is likely Miller him self.

Eh, Miller didn't win 2 fights in the UFC and call out the entire division he was in. McGregor wins the ****** award in this fight. Unfortunately he probably wins the fight too. They're gonna give him safe fights until they can get him in the top 10. Once he's there he's gonna have a bad time.

Why not give McGregor someone like Jeremy Stephens in Ireland? Surely it's not because the UFC knows McGregor will die, right? Wrong.

No, Miller just absolute prick to other fighters and fans. He just thinks he better then they are and I don't mean fighting. I mean he just thinks himself above others. He pretty much the definition of a ******. Fighters have said this number of times as have fans who have met him. he like notorious for being huge ******* and making fun of people. Fighters have talked about how much of a prick he been to other fighters, whioch is why so many fighters hate him. There reason people like Cerrone want to drop deathly amount of weight to fight him.

Being confident and selling yourself is not a ******, being a ****** to other fighters and fans behind the scenes is a ******. Ive never heard anyone talk about Mcgregor doing any of the crap ive heard about Miller doing. Hell even people like Joe Lauzon who does not talk badly about anyone has petty much said Miller a massive ******.

Not that he's as experienced as Cole on the mat but Conor will soon be a brown belt in BJJ and has been training with Gunnar Nelson among others for many years in BJJ.  All I need to do is watch a fight like Cole vs. Andy Ogle to know that Cole has a well below average chance to submit McGregor unless he was able to stun him with strikes and immediately latch on a RNC a la Palaszewski/Sicilia.  And the odds Cole significantly lights Conor up on the feet to the point the RNC is wide open for him before Conor lights him up significantly wouldn't appear to be very good.  I have trouble seeing anything but a TKO or lopsided decision win by McGregor.

Definitely would've preferred a better opponent for McGregor but the thought of Conor putting Miller out cold and unable to open his mouth for the "Cole's complaint about something followed by an intentionally mispronounced fighter's name callout" segment will be satisfying enough for my waking up to Saturday morning MMA from Ireland.

@Tacos, you this fight is barely even a rumour, right? You're basically calling out the UFC for *****-matchmaking before they've even made the match. Talk about jumping the gun.

Hypothetically talking about the fight is cool, but trashing someone for something he hasn't even done is pretty lame.

Conor will win this fight. But, lets not completely discredit Miller's striking. It's nowhere near McGregor's but if he uses his reach correctly he could be a handful.
