Khamzat going to kill this fake champ 💥

Khamzat vs. DDP would be a crazy 300 main event. Both guys 7-0 in the UFC and would only make Izzy vs. DDP that much more insane if DDP wins. 

Have to put it as highly unlikely as of right now if he's having Visa issues this close to the event date, but you never know. 

Khamzat is not fighting on 300 because of Ramadan, it’s fake news

the ufc aint got got **** left for this card
nobody can fight and their running out of time for a proper training camp

I thought the same thing but when it comes to a title shot, you never know.

Alex VS Izzy unless izzy is busy sucking Khamzat and co off at the Ramdan Inn.

For the record I thought Khamzat was going to fight Izzy on this card if Strickland or Dricus didn’t want to fight on this card

Khamzat is banned from entering the U.S. anyways, he couldn’t fight even if he wanted to

yes he has a Russian passport which restricts him from fighting in the us due to the war with ukrain

Yeah he’s buddy buddy with khadyrov and khadyrov is on a U.S. sanction list. I think the reason he switched his nationality to uae (besides probably getting paid a **** ton) was to make getting a visa easier. However being that closely connected with a man wanted for heinous war crimes makes it pretty difficult to enter the U.S. 

@stylebender it’s not because of his Russian passport, Russians have been easily able to fight in the U.S. for the most part; kopylov this week for example

Dana said he‘s probably going to announce the UFC 300 main event at the UFC 298 post fight press conference.

Since they already even asked injured Jon Jones to headline the event I think they are super desperate to find a main event and Dana didn‘t seem too hyped up talking about the announcement. I got a bad feeling it‘s gonna be Edwards vs Belal.

With 2/3 more fights to be added realistically to 300, some options I came up with:

Leon vs. Belal: I mean it's a given. As much people are underwhelmed by this fight maybe being the main event, the first fight between them was actually pretty exciting for as long as it lasted but still, this would be an all time decision-off

Pereira vs Aspinall + Hill vs. Ankalaev: the beauty behind this matchup is it's a 2 for 1 because you can offer Hill vs. Ankalaev as an Interim LHW title fight. If Pereira wins, you promote the winner of Hill vs. Ankalaev as the unified champ and you get Jones vs. Pereira in the Fall/Winter, and if Aspinall win, Pereira can move back down to fight the winner to unified belt. Genius!

Pavlovich vs. Gane: This fight is hype, winner fights Blaydes vs. Almeida winner unless it's Blaydes and Sergei again ofc

Usman vs. Shavkat/Cannonier: Depending on if Usman wants to make a run at WW or MW, both are realistic option. For Usman vs. Shavkat, the winner gets the next title shot after Belal and for Usman vs. Cannonier, both guys could fight the winner of Costa vs. Whittaker for a title shot

KKF vs. Kape: Cmon Dana, get this booked already, 300 or not. Would give much needed drama to the press conference and could lead to Kape ascending as a new title contender, which flyweight desperately needs

Pimblett vs. Moicano/Dober/Frevola: Paddy on the card would significantly increase the star power and giving him a major step up in competition for him to either break into the rankings or get fraudchecked 

Barboza vs. Allen: Barboza moving up coming off a win, Allen moving down coming off 2 straight loses plus this would be a banger striking matchup

Blachowicz vs. Rountree: I think this would be a really competitive matchup and could lead to Rountree proving he belongs among the elite of LHW. Blachowicz also needs a bounceback fight after close fights between Ankalaev and Pereira

Dana said he‘s going to announce the UFC 300 main event at the UFC 298 post-fight. 

When Volk wins, Volk vs Oliveria.
