Contrast that with how Michael Bisping has done since Hendo beat him in a similar grudge-match-type situation.
Bisping also did not lose back-to-back fights after opening his career with 10 or more wins. Such as Aaron Rosa, Jake O'Brien, Sean McCorkle, Ryan Bader, and even Diego Sanchez and Lyoto Machida, cannot make that same claim.
Therefore Bisping belongs squarely in this discussion.

@niklust i put in maia mostly because of his silva fight, he was out classed in the striking department and couldn't get the fight to the ground but instead of pulling a thailes lates he just kept swinging. even swinging while off his knees. thats the main fight but even in other ones he is always trying for subs and never stops trying.

No one in the history of MMA has the heart Saku had and that's a fact. Not Diego, not JDS, not Clay, not Anderson, no one. Sure those guys have huge hearts and are super admirable, but none of them has taken beatings of the same degree and as constantly as Saku took them.
If you think JDS is brain dead from the beating Cain gave him, you might've thought Saku was dead in his fight vs. Arona alone.
