I keep envisioning an O'Malley body shot TKO. I believe this is a close fight though because Chito is kind of a stylistic nightmare for O'Malley.

Is Sandhagen ok?, Surely he gets a title shot over Chito, Sandhagen made Chito his *****, I want to see the best fight the best, if Merab don’t want to fight Sean because Aljo don’t give him permission, give it to Sandhagen

I love Chito, but Sandhagen and Merab are actully derserving of title shots, Sean should fight the best, that what UFC champ should be, your the best and you fight the best,

With how quick and the power of O'Malley early. Won't even be surprised if Vera starts way too slow and gets TKO'd,
Chito was getting combos landed on him very early in the 1st fight.

Sean O'Malley, DEC
Vera always loses to point based strikers that move a lot. Take the Cruz fight for example he was losing until he gets the knock down and although I dont think Sean has a granite chin it will basically turn into a cruz/sandhagen esque fight of Chito being out pointed early and maybe coming on strong in 4/5. However, Vera has a pretty granite chin and amazing guard against head strikes. Unless Sean gets a sub or a liver shot I really doubt any KO on his side. Hope Vera can pull it off when he can actually put some sort of pace on he is pretty fun. Also Sean is a literally a cuck

Sean gonna win by decision probably with a bunch of really close rounds but everybody will realize Sean won. Feels like another Cory vs Chito.

Can definitely see O’Malley running and winning a boring Adesanya like decision however a lot of people ruling out Vera. I don’t see how Vera has no chance, a lot of questions about O’Malley still need to be answered I believe this will be the fight to show us where his cardio, leg checking ability and really test his movement and his offensive grappling.

It’s so hard to say who wins O’Malley finishing Vera would be mind boggling but Vera was losing to out of prime Cruz Ian’s out of prime Edgar he has to put leg kicks on O’Malley early but I just can’t see chito beating O’Malley with a dec he’ll need to put the pressure on early and not give rounds up but O’Malley could easily out strike Vera he just has to watch his chin and be checking leg kicks

Sean O Malley Vs Chito Vera

Sean O Malley via decision, Chito is a tough guy to put away that being said only thing that concerns me with O Malley is his inability to check leg kicks, I’m sure he’ll be working in it but he let Aljo kick his legs without checking it

@sun1420

O'Malley blocked every body kick by Vera in the 1st fight, only success Vera had was his low kick directly to O'Malley knee.

O'Malley had Chito eating every faint he was throwing, because those teep kicks up the middle and low calf kick landing heavy n often.

+ a nerve in his leg gave out, his body had nothing to do with it.

Dana now lets his golden chicken avoid real contenders like Merab,Cory or Umar even rematch vs Aljo and he most likely wins here but next defense he can't run anymore, the only way to keep him a little longer as champ is if next fight he doesn't fight for his belt and he fights the winner of Volk vs Topuria which looks more reasonable now with Volk looks shaky after he got koed really bad.Omalley gets finished by either of those guys anyway and goes back to bantam to defend his belt vs interim champ Merab/Cory/Umar and  gets finished again, the hype train gets absolutely destroyed and he goes back where his spot is top 6-7

@FcBayern
Cory is a good fight, but as he was able to avoid Aljo and find his chin he'll likely do it on a grappler who finds less success, is smaller, and has at least the same level of chin in Merab. Merab was badly hurt by Moraes, it can happen again, and Aljo has more success with one takedown attempt than Merab does with fifteen. It's not like Merab has a lot of finishing potential, so it means that O'Malley has 25 minutes to get a feel for the failed but frequent takedowns to find this way shorter fighter's chin and put him away. Umar literally has not proven himself at all. Period. He is top 15 with no ranked wins, and none of the people he beat were ranked when he beat them either. Now Cory might pose some issues but it remains to be seen if his wrestling is now at the level of even a merab, much less an aljo. I was initially more okay with the chito vs omalley booking when it was going to happen next month and merab said he wouldn't fight unless aljo got his rematch and cory had an active bicep tear. Merab is still saying that, as far as I've heard too, so it isn't like he's trying to take that fight right now.

My gut is telling me that Chito is acting like he's already won this rematch when Sean has grown, he's acting as if this is already in the bag. A little too over confident, the same way Aljo was.
