The UFC better give the title shot to Merab, he wants it and he in a lot of people opinion the best fighter in the division, The ufc is about the best fighting the best, Chito got dominanted by the 3rd or 4th best guy in Cory Sandhagen and then beat someone everyone beat in Pedro Munhoz , Chito don’t deserve ****

am I missing something? genuinely asking. maybe Merab went back on his words, idk. but as far as I know, he wants to hold out on his title shot so Aljo can get a rematch (which is just ridiculous and why Dana was clowning him). so yeah it doesn't seem like he even wants the opportunity

and even if Merab was campaigning for a title shot, whether you like it or not, money talks. I just find it hard to see Chito not getting a rematch tbh. does he deserve it? probably not, but it'll be a way better fight so I'm not mad

I start with Chito is one of my favourite fighter, But I’m agaist stupid title shot, the best should fight the best, Chito shouldn’t be near a title shot, Sandhagen just smashed him and coming off a win (majority thought he lost) over Pedro Munhoz who everyone good beats isn’t a title shot worthy, 

Your telling me they’re no better contenders in the best division in the UFC, I want to see the best fight the best

yes, Chito doesn't deserve a title shot. but like I said, it seems like Merab doesn't even want a title shot rn. that, in combination with Sandhagen being injured and there being history between Chito and O'Malley, gives lots of merit to a rematch on this card. it just makes sense 🤷‍♂️

I was thinking the same thing but according to mmadecisions only 3/17 media outlets gave it to Chito. I'll admit Chito is my favorite fighter but I had him 29-28 easily.

I had no idea it was that lopsided among the journalists. my bad Damien, I'll walk that back. clearly, many people think Munhoz won. why? I have no idea. maybe I need to go back and rewatch it, but I remember it being a pretty easy fight to score
