Ogden is a more difficult fight for Ignacio than Motta was but I'm still going with Ignacio. He's dangerous everywhere

That's the thing bro. I would love to pick C Rod. I think his BJJ is at least equal to Rosas and has better striking. But if he gets put on his back I think Rosas will close out the round.

I think Ceerod's TDD isn't as bad as people think. I know Weems took him down a couple of times and that's damning but I think he trains with a ton of really good wrestlers and have strong hips/fast reactions. It's just that he likes to stand in the pocket at all times. I also think he didn't really respect or fear Weems.
He's also a pretty good grappler. Rosas believes he's unstoppable and is hasty, he will push relentlessly and hunt for subs relentlessly. It didn't lead to the most convincing win for him on Contender Series where he traded bottom and top positions a lot with his opponent.
I want to know what happens if he's pushed further or gets in trouble, gets hurt. He's amazing for an 18year old but his age is just a liability for this fight. He receives no handicaps to compensate for it.

Is Pinheiro really good though?

Predictions: 8 of 12 Winners, 6 Perfect, 630 Points   |   54th Place

Her  striking is super limited. Her only move seems to be blitzing and spamming 1-2s so she can get close to grab her opponent and go for the Judo throw. Does that blitz work as well against someone like Waterson who loves her teeps and front side kicks? Seems like the perfect counter to her ******, telegraphed blitz.

She is all 1st round finishes against low competition and once she fought decent competition she hasn't done that. She technically got a 1st round finish against Markos, but that fight kinda sucked and she didn't look great. The way she took that upkick was also suspect IMO.

Then she did nothing against Sampage. And Sampage is terrible. She tried her blitz into taken in the 1st, but couldn't finish her off of it. Then her cardio seemed okay for her first decision, but she stopped grappling in the 2nd half of the fight and the striking numbers are insanely close... against SAMPAGE. And I think Sampage won the 3rd round.

If she can't finish Michelle then I am not sure she can out point her. It just feels like fading a bad fighter with a bad fighter. Michelle is at the end of her career, but nothing on tape says Pinheiro is actually good.

That time off is the only thing holding me back from betting on Michelle. But if she looks ANYTHING like she did against Sampage then I just don't like her chances at all.

dont like the way Meerschaert almost always tends to keep his hands low, if Pyfer's tdd holds up I def see him knocking gerald out.

That is where I disagree. That Hughes fight is way too close for how bad Hughes is. She only landed 7 more significant strikes and 2 more total strikes. The totals in every round were super close. And she got a 1:51 of control time in the 1st round then only attempted 1 takedown the rest of the fight. And my guess is that she didn't have the cardio to keep grappling so she tried to strike with Hughes. And I think Hughes won the 3rd round. I also think you can make a case for Hughes in that 2nd round if Pinheiro didn't land that knockdown with 15 seconds left in the round. She was getting out struck up to that point. That fight gives me negative confidence in Pinheiro and her cardio. Her bad cardio narrative is not nonsense. Every other fighter except Elise Reed has had better striking numbers against Hughes than Pinheiro. Nunes even out landed Hughes and landed more strikes than Pinheiro. And Nunes lost that fight.

It's ok. JR has no idea how to analyse fights. He is still a baby.

Michelle is better. She is the side.

I thought Sam Hughes could of won the 2nd also before she got dropped, Also agaist Randa Markos, Pinhero didn't look that good before the DQ

Waterson seem like the only WMMA dog I don't mind, I'm not betting Calvilo, And I don't like Sam Hughes
