Someone said they picked fighters that are bad enough that Nunes and Peña can actually teach them something about striking, gave me a chuckle. Haven't watched any of it yet though.

Brogan was my pick to win the women side when it was announced. Her knee injury may get in the way of that but I think shes still the best one there.

Solecki vs. da Silva
Alex da Silva, SUB, R2
Solecki by submission in the second round. Da Silva's wrestling is solid and has good striking fundamentals but his cardio is subpar. If Yakovlev could catch him with a guillotine then so can Solecki.

I'm going back and forth and back and forth on Gravely v Munoz. Gravely is probably the better wrestler and he has a lot more experience. At the same time he really struggles to keep opponents pinned to the mat and he also frequently gets full reversed. His TDD has also been **** frankly. I gotta think Munoz has an edge in the jiujitsu here and he has good takedowns as well.
Gravely has power that he carries late with multiple late round stoppages in his career but his cardio sometimes falls off a cliff. One minute he's fine the next minute he looks completely spent.

I think Gravely is more explosive and active as a striker but he gets hit up a lot. Munoz going a very close fight with Maneness on like a couple of days notice was impressive.
Anyone that got Munoz early at +130 is in a good spot here I think but I was too late on this one. Might be a sweaty back and forth where you could find a livebet though.

Might go decision or stoppage, Gravely is more likely to get it done by KO and Munoz by sub.

Sorry for the late reply but tbh bro I haven't really looked into that fight and I'm not too interested in it so I can't tell you much about it 😂

Gravely vs munoz is dependent on how much gravely wants to respect Munoz’s bjj lol. If he shows no respect he’s getting subbed fs

I’ll never forget the Izzy vs Jan card. That card had so many finishes I couldn’t believe my own eyes. I WANT ANOTHER UFC CARD LIKE THAT!!!! ….but if not. I atleast want to see Menifield get folded.

Predictions: 13 of 14 Winners, 3 Perfect, 795 Points   |   Tied for 407th

Michailidis vs. Fakhretdinov
Rinat Fakhretdinov, TKO, R1
I think the people wanting to fade rinat are more looking at his more popular tape, and seeing he can be a bit wild on the feet. So can mich BTW. But he's much more of a methodical positional wrestler when you watch some other the less popular stuff. I still think he should, while he isn't very technical, be the better striker with the better chin and KO mich, if he finds himself losing those exchanges I truly believe he will be the far better wrestler. Just like with a prediction later up the card......you gotta also remember when these guys fight on dwcs or lfaf, they try for crazy finish to hope to get contract more than normally would.

Blanchfield vs. Aldrich
Erin Blanchfield, SUB, R2
There's really only the top of the division I'd pick against blanchfield. When I picked her against maverick I thought she'd win close decision but she absolutely dominated. And she's still years from her prime. The only other time jj fought such a strong wrestler (because they are ****** rare in wmma) she got subbed in the second so let's go with that.

Predictions: 13 of 14 Winners, 3 Perfect, 795 Points   |   Tied for 407th

Gravely vs. Munoz Jr.
Tony Gravely, DEC
Gravely better on the feet, more volume more power more accuracy, I perceive the better wrestling but not sure, it just comes down to has he learned bjj defense well enough to not give Munoz a sub. I'm not blown away by Munoz bjj but I do think it wouldn't take the biggest mistake by gravely for him to lock one in. But like always when it's the clear minute winner vs a clear moment winner (main event) I'll always go with the minute winner. Give me gravely to grind out 30-27

Molina vs. Zhumagulov
Jeff Molina, DEC
I really, really wanted to pick zhalgas here. And I do think he could end up coming through. He's fought the better people, and may be counted out for the bas looks against better people, vs Molina's good looks against lesser people. But I can't do it. Zhalgas is at the age where what you see is what you get, vs Molina just getting to beginning of prime. I kinda think Molina could be live for a a lot, being he does have a really good KD to SS ratio, we will see if that's only because of who the two guys were later on. And zhalgas took a beating and got dropped twice in last fight. But that's ****** kape.......so I'm not going to count out his chin, so I'll say Molina wins like a 29-28 decision. But low-key rooting for zhalgas.

I just realise this card start at 3am at my timezone, that kinda lame because I really want to watch some of the prelims on this card, I think I wouldn’t care as much if the card had an order that make sense, but I want to watch Blanchfield, but I don’t want to wake up at 3am, and Molina fighting at 4am

I guess I’m waking up at 3am then, becuase Sean Shelby and Mick Maynard can’t order a card properly
