I would be careful with that one bro. I think Jackson is far more skilled than Arguetta and will be huge compared to him size wise. And it's a terrible style match up.

I see a R2 submission for Jackson. I think the odds while wide are probably not too far off.

No I agree with you, the size advantage and fight experience are definitely going to play a big role in this fight but I just think those are odds are way too shot to pass up. Dan is a very good fighter and while this is a stylistic nightmare for him I just think he’s getting a bit overlooked due to his last performance, he has the cardio and he definitely has the wrestling to hang with Jackson, and I’d think it’s fair to say they’re even on the feet as well so i’d say as long as Dan can negate the BJJ he should give a competitive fight to Jackson. Plus I’m not throwing too much on it so it won’t be a big loss for me if he loses.

I hear you man. Solo se vive una vez (I'm practicing Spanish lol)

Maybe just hedge a small amount with Jackson sub as well? So you don't lose any money?

What do you think about the Herrig/Kowelkiewicz **** show? I have rewatched the Jessica Pene fight and I am wondering if Karolina did not make that bone headed decision to go into Penne's guard could she have won? Her losses are to pretty good competition. And I know Duck doesn't think its relevant (I do) but Ferrig has an Only Fans and is making a lot of money on the side. I wonder how committed to fighting at this point. Also Karolina should be faster and have better striking, but she is so damn hittable!

Rewatched the previous fight between the two and I actually thought that was a really good fight. And was impressed by Karolina who I think was outstriking Felice quite a bit.

Seriously thinking of switching my pick to Karolina. She is better on the ground than I first thought as well, what do you think?

Man they are really disrespecting Dan Ige with that line.  Is he really that bad?  He's never been finished before in his career and he's fought some decent competition with Barboza being his most notable win.  I know Movsar is a beast and is undefeated in his career but I don't see Movsar becoming champion or even number one contender, he will lose at some point soon.  Not sure if it's this Saturday but it will happen soon.

Wasn't Movsar going to fight Topuria at one point?

That was the fight I felt like he would have lost.

I think Karolina has looked absolutely shot her past few. Herrig is 37 and has been gone for a long time and was never elite to begin with. Line is too close to be very interesting. Strictly livebet or pass for me.

I have a feeling this Rinat Fahretdinov is gonna be an absolute can. I think he will gas after the first round. Records are deceiving, especially in Russia. Remember Alexey Kunchenko who was like 18-0 coming into the UFC and he turned out to be a can of the highest order. Michalidis decision.

He beat Thiago Alves and Okami? apparently losing to Burns after being 2-0 in the UFC makes you a can of highest order? Sheeeeesh.

Rinat hasn't lost to nor has he beat extremely high-level comp, but I wouldn't label him in the 'can' category. While he's nothing special, neither is Michailidis; . He's going to closely battle it out with Andreas imo, probably getting a KO eventually.

I don't see him shaking the rankings or anything, but Andreas hasn't shown me enough to say he'll throw off the debut.

Herrig vs. Kowalkiewicz II
Karolina Kowalkiewicz, DEC
Karolina hasn't looked good in any of her last few fights, but she's losing to elite competition and her last win was over Felice, indicating that she may still be on the same skill level as and can beat her again. Very close fight.

Yeh true bro. But he then lost again, got cut and went to PFL and lost again. When someone comes into the UFC at 18-0 you expect them to be a world beater. So I’m never falling for this undefeated Russian trap again. Rinat may well and truely prove me wrong though :)

@hackmooney rinat may be bad but he doesnt gas from what I’ve seen. Andreas gasses out after the first round AND he’s going down a weight class so cutting 15 extra pounds is gonna hurt his **** gas tank even more. Watxh his fight vs vladimir min eve. After a competitive first he falls off of a cliff so bad and curls up in a ball and quits in the third round. He gassed out against pereira, bullhar, pascu. Basically anytime the fight gets extended past the first he blows his load. And his chin isn’t great but that’s going to be compromised even more going down to a weight class he hasn’t fought at before

@imrealugly I’m a big fan of Argueta but this is a huuuuge step up. The size difference (in height, not weight. Argueta is a gigantic 135er) is going to play a big role. Argueta is live for a ko on the feet but he’s a pressure wrestler so I’m sure this fight is going to play out in the mat where he’s at a disadvantage. Plus, his most recent fight was not a ufc worthy performance. He almost lost, got outwrestled, and didn’t start grappling until he lost the first two rounds

Menifield vs. Mozharov
Mozharov, DEC

Imo this is very close fight, Menifield beat Paul Craig back to 2k19 but I saw some of Mozharov's matches and I think his is more complete fighter than Manifiled, anyways this fight will be dope

Its not a bad season at all really. First fight was a snoozer but for HW's I have seen worse. I REALLY like that I can watch it at 9 AM instead of waiting til 9 PM. Gives me something to do the first hour of work.

^ ****** that up about 8 times lol too early after a long weekend.
