Not really imo but that’s subjective. I think rinat could have had a competitive fight with him too; modestas was not ready for the ufc

Don’t you also find it a little concerning Andreas is going to a weight class he’s never fought at before? As someone who doesn’t have a great chin nor the greatest gas tank is definitely something to factor too

Hes so much smaller than his opponents. I pretty sure he can make ww with an improved diet.

He’s been ko’ed in all of his losses lol. I’m not just saying that because of his most recent fight. He’s literally been ko’ed 5 times

And I know that, his gas tank isn’t great. I saw him blow his load against ion Pascu too

It doesn’t matter if it’s unknown nor if the ref ****** up, at the end of the day he’s still been ko’ed 5/5 times. The ref screwed him over but he was still wobbled by the elbows

Espn and sherdog both have it as a ko loss. And again, he still couldn’t continue against modestas. It doesn’t matter if he wa screwed over, he couldn’t continue from the elbows

Actually I should rephrase. His chin isn’t bad, but he gets ko’ed a lot because of how much he slows down, he starts to wane defensively which leads to him getting knocked out

Okay? It’s not like he can’t be ko’ed idk why ur acting like he’s gonna take punches differently down a weight class lol. Especially one he’s never fought at. Rinat has power and can crack. It doesn’t matter if ur small for a divison, power is power. Plus, look at the healthy track record of fighters going down a weight class. Cody,croom, hooker, etc. they, can’t take punches the same way. hell, even fighters who haven’t shown chin issues have gotten ****** uo before, look at Julio arce when he fought yadong, he didn’t take the punches as well as he did. And that’s not even factoring in Andreas ****** gas tank. He already fades after the second round at 185. Watch his fight vs vladimir mineev , he was so gassed out he literally curled in a ball and quit. Cutting an extra 15 is only gonna make that gas tank worse. Especially if he throws those spinning kicks

Evloev but it will be close. I don’t expect ige to give much resistance to the takedowns but movsar has this very annoying habit of standing on the feet way too much. He’s a pretty good striker but it’s obviously not where he’s most comfortable. Ige could definitely win points on the feet. I’ve also noticed movsar struggles a lot to take the fight to the ground in the third and prefers to stand on his feet (not always but it’s happened before. See the Dawodu or barzola fight for example). It won’t happen here, but when he fights a good wrestler who can also strike is where he’s gonna run into trouble later down the road. If barzola was a better striker he likely could have beaten movsar. Overall, iges tdd isn’t great and that’s what’s gonna cost him here but on the feet it will be very competitive and I think k ige may be able to win a round (most likely the third)
