If Jai Herbert can pull off a win it would be HUGE

McCann - Carolina

Predictions: 6 of 8 Winners, 2 Perfect, 415 Points   |   Tied for 3339th

After pondering on this matchup I do believe meatball will pull it off, applying pressure, controlling the entire fight. Carolina fights pedaling backwards throwing a sloppy jab here & there, meatball is gonna go ape**** in here at home and Carolina's punching power doesn't pose a threat. I see meatball just walking through her shots & weaving forward throwing heat the entire match doing enough to get the judges eye

Whether Aspinall gassed against Arlovski in the 2nd round or not, he still showed high fight IQ by going for the TD and subbing Arlovski when Arlovski least expect it.  The man has shown that at least he is an intelligent fighter and can switch up his tactics if things aren't going his way.

Also, in recent years, Arlovski has been notoriously hard to finish.  Since January 2017, Arlovski fought 16 times in the UFC.  During that time, only Aspinall, Rozenstruik and N'Gannou finished him.  The other 13 times he has gone to decision despite fighting some heavy hitters such as Tai Tuivasa and Walt Harris.  Arlovski these days is a tough out for any fighter especially a young and up-coming one so I don't think Aspinall should be judged based on his performance against Arlovski.  He still got the job done.

@jack95 Someone once explained to me awhile ago that Russian fighters (I know Krylov is from Ukraine) get juiced really badly in certain parts of the world. I forget the exact reason but, it came up awhile ago when I saw Movsar Evloev was like a -600 vs Nik Lentz. I knew that was an insane line but, Evloev ended up winning a split. That's beside the point, I think Craig and Shore should both be relatively strong favorites as well and I wouldn't overthink it.

At the end of the day from a business point of view , the ufc does want the UK fighters to win here, they just do, they want to build the market here, to make more money in future events here

Can't wait for the first UK ppv, will probably be a long way away but still, it feels like a ppv card for us over here in the uk I don't know about you guys elsewhere in the world but it feels like that here

Hooker looked good on the scale, I thinks he stuffs Allen’s takedowns and wins a stand up 3 Rounder decision

Paddy’s a scouser. Scousers don’t get knocked out. He’s had his chin up for 29 fights and never been knocked out. Lol I’m just giving you paddy’s answer to your insight

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 8 of 12 Winners, 3 Perfect, 540 Points   |   Tied for 2072nd

Volkov vs. Aspinall
Alexander Volkov, DEC
Volkov didn't look good in his last fight and gassed out but that's because he was taken down like 15 times. Aspinall already said he's not ready for this big of a test yet. Unless Aspinall knocks Volkov out early, he's not winning this fight. Aspinall also has suspect cardio.

Allen vs. Hooker
Arnold Allen, DEC
Allen can win this fight by mixing in takedowns and landing big shots on Hooker. Dan likes to land tons of significant strikes and that could sway the judges but I think Allen is very good and will pass this test.

Pimblett vs. Vargas
Paddy Pimblett, SUB, R1
I'm gonna start by saying this...Paddy Pimblett is wayyyy overrated. I think he's good but I highly doubt he ever cracks the top-10. He will be exposed in the future like he was almost exposed against Luigi. Vargas isn't as bad as people say he is but he's not gonna be the guy to stop the Paddy hype train. They'll hand pick Paddy's opponents until they can't anymore.

Nelson vs. Sato
Gunnar Nelson, SUB, R1
I was gonna pick Sato but I just can't. He's gonna get taken down extremely easily and subbed. My only worry is that we haven't seen Gunnar in a long time. He should get the job done though. Sato is dangerous on the feet so Nelson needs to watch out for that but he will stay safe and sub Takashi.

McCann vs. Carolina
Molly McCann, DEC
McCann should be able to mix in her wrestling here. Carolina is an ok kick boxer with range but I have to side with McCann due to the takedown factor if she decides to implement it.

Herbert vs. Topuria
Ilia Topuria, SUB, R1
Herbert isn't good lol. I mean, he has fine boxing but that's not enough. Topuria easy takedown and sub.

Grundy vs. Amirkhani
Mike Grundy, DEC
Cardio kings. Just kidding. Grundy should be able to beat Makwan anywhere this fight goes. I think Makwan is very skilled but he may be off to Bellator after this one.

Abdurakhimov vs. Pavlovich
Sergei Pavlovich, TKO, R1
Doing my guy Shamil dirty once again. Come on Maynard and Shelby.

Krylov vs. Craig
Nikita Krylov, TKO, R1
Craig is so hittable and his striking is NOT good at all. I see some saying that his striking is serviceable but it's really not. Krylov should keep this standing and will destroy him on the feet. My only worry is that if Krylov goes to the mat willingly with Craig, this could het ugly quick. We've seen Nikita subbed many times before.

Shore vs. Valiev
Jack Shore, DEC
Valiev is extremely good and this will be a tough test for Shore but I think he passes that test here. I was tempted to pick Valiev in this spot but Shore has wayy better grappling.

Reed vs. McKenna
Cory McKenna, DEC
Reed has a big chance here so I'm not counting her out but McKenna is very good and should be able to roll here.

Mokaev vs. Durden
Muhammad Mokaev, SUB, R3
Durden will gas out and Mokaev will submit him. Mokaev is another overhyped prospect in my opinion but Durden isn't gonna be the guy to end the hype train.
